Lol it’s a common tier too called armadillo but turns any clothes with mod slots into 64 more armor even if you put it like on a pair of shoes early on when I got it with 15 armor then it will have 80 armor and this goes for every thing that has a slot.

I thought it was a one off but it turns out I can craft it for 7 uncommon and 7 common lmao.

Is this normal? I have no idea where I picked it up but it was somewhere in the Watson starting area.

you can get armadillo sometimes from the clothing vendor
If i see the vendor is carrying clothing mods i usually buy it up and then wait 24hrs to see restock. rinse and repeat. eventually the vendor will have blue armadillos that are over 100 armor a piece
The effect stacks so im using 4 of them on a lvl 18 legendary vest

i did the space oddity mission when i was level 11. got my chit kicked it like 8 times. on my 9th restart, i finally beat them. turned out the bad guys were level 22.

all the good stuff i got were locked until i'm level 22. fukkin pissed. but not mad at the money glitch tho.

Bugs probably until first major dlc or multiplayer(whichever comes first) which will include reworked stuff

The main story will never have branching options but the dlcs probably will

(also as I get deeper into the game im noticing frequency of bugs more than I initially even thought, like every 3 min something happens weather its a car inside a car, or can't pick up a labled loot item. Its like, really bad, more things than I can remember, but theres millions of things wrong)

Did anybody find a faster way to make money than the buying/selling painting method?

Spent like 600k in cars and I really don’t wanna waste much more time to get another 800k+ on legendary cyber mods/weapons

I keep myself from the exploit. I like knowing there is one but I glaze over anytime someone says what it is.

If I find it on accident ok

But it’s like iron daggers in Skyrim once you know what it is it breaks the game

So far I’m just playing the game how it’s aperantly meant to and not trying to look for exploits but if I notice something so be it.

Issue is I DID buy every vehicle 70k+ available to me so far. Probably should have bought the legendary/iconic weaps and mods first but I’m probably going to craft what I can considering my crafting is 20

I agree when it comes to certain things. There isn’t a way to reliably make money in this game to the amount needed to get everything top tier (2m+ I’d guess?). I don’t feel like running around killing random mobs at 1kea and doing access points for 500-1000ea to get there.

On the other hand I only use handguns but got my sword/blunt weapon/assault trees all to their max levels

I’m definitely going to exploit the athletics skill as well because I’ve been sprinting for 20-30hr already and still only have it to level 4. No way in hell that’s going to get to 10+ naturally

P.s. I don’t think anybody is playing the game the way it’s meant to be played because the game they meant to make doesn’t exist hehe

u can farm the police lol. i killed a police drone and got legendary crafting materials. but idk how that would go. i hate exploitable farming stuff.

This...I’ve done zero money making exploits and have bought like $350k worth of cars and motorcycles in ~40 hours. And still have like $180k right now. Not sure why you’d need so much that you need to use exploits. Kinda lame IMO, but just not my style of playing.

I’ve made about the same (500-600kish with 100k of that being the exploit) but issue is I don’t see myself playing another 30-40 hours this play through. I can say wandering around doing cookie cutter kill mob objectives is lame as well and it’s lame how there isnt some non-repetitive money making system. Just wanna do 10ish hours more max and then I’m about done until content is added

Let me play some gambling games or something, I dunno.

sure I can put in 100+ hours into it but this game doesn’t have 100+ hours of content no matter how much you say it does. Maybe if you do every single baseball bat and police marker but those are all exactly the same. I’ve almost completed the entire map’s actual quests and it’s not like I’m speed running everything. I’m running to most places

Edit: I’ll add to that. I’m impressed that this is a 50ish hour game. I was expecting 15-20

it's like a 100+ hour game for me. im 70 hours in and not even halfway through the content. my cards say 30% 10% 10% idk wtf the cards are though. guessing quest/mission progression

though am hoping to finish the game in 30 more hours lol. all my productivity IRL is like whoooooosh non existent

If you're putting points in Intelligence, Access Points are very easy money early-mid game. And if you're putting points in Tech + crafting perks you barely need to buy anything.

Exactly what I did. But now I’m late game with not many ways left to earn money now that I did every access point in sight throughout my play through. Unless they reset but I’m kind of tired of them at this point

I’m at 41 hours and still not done with main story, still have a looot of chit on my map, and still have lots of side gigs available. I’ll spend 100 hours minimum on this one play through at this rate.

yea i'm planning to do all the gigs. that's how I do games man. i gotta do all the content lol @_@

Installed the game today on my poverty 4th gen i7 and 1060 card. ~28 fps on ultra settings and no fancy ray-tracing of course. Played about 2 hours, game looks good and love the design but the NPCs are as generic AF, thought the NPCs would be more immersive from what I had read in the past. So far a pretty good experience though, none of the game-breaking bugs so far.

That’s actually good to know. In that case I’ll just progress the main story to get there then I’ll complete the rest of the side quests/whatever when I’m a higher level right before the end

After you do the first mission in Act 2, talking to Takamura (no spoiler) you can do the quest Space Oddity, keep the painting at the end, sell it to drop location, exit and then reopen it, buy it back, sell it again, exit and buy it back, ect. Repeat as much as you like, wait 24 hours when the box runs out of money but make sure to buy the painting back before waiting or it will be gone.

Yoloed and started a Nomad Fem V playthrough for a more combat-focused character. Still maxing Tech first though, so I can craft what I want and not look like a mobile flea market stand.

They don't even let them keep the suit you wear during the heist, which is lame AF since it's one of the few clothes that can be worn over your equipment.

Wtf, this is easily a 150 hour game if you do everything.

I think it’ll take me 200 hours.

I don’t understand money/item exploiters or fast travellers at all. I like to role play my RPGs.
