What to do when left on read?

Was texting this new girl I met from online, asked her about travelling. She gives me list of countries she’s been to. I tell her I was planning to go to turkey with my friends, then she says yeah it’s a good place you should go.
I jokingly tell her “I’d rather go with you”
Then she leaves me on read. We are texting on Snapchat.
She’s 25 so kind of old but still fk online dating and being left on read like this.
What to do in this situation? Delete and move on?

Just leave it be. Give up and move on . Don't double text . In my experience there's no converting a flaky girl .


You could restart the convo if you didn't leave off on asking a q or some big statement.


What I learnt is that the dating game is cut throat . If you sense any sort of rejection give up and go NC immediately. Anything else you're just giving ego boosts for free .But If they ever hit you up again , you'll know whats up

I just don't text them again and if I never hear from them again that's fine.

If a girl is into you, she will reach out. Only focus on girls that are really into you. Makes no sense to waste time on those that aren't when there are so many girls in the world.

imo you goofed by giving her too much validation and made it too easy on her too early on so she's less interested


Think about it from her perspective, this guy I haven't even met yet just told me he would rather go to another country with me than his own friends. Obviously you weren't serious but you put her on a pedestal with that statement and you put that thought in her mind that she's already over your boys and you haven't even met yet and she had to do nothing to prove herself.

Make a bish at least have to try a little and not think she's got you from the jump

first off

joking or not, dudes throw themselves at girls frequently enough they can't take the risk on whether you meant it in good natured fun, or a creepy way. They got enough options they can NC if they're concerned.

secondly, you said "rather go with you" when all she said was "you should go" in response to you going with friends. weird answer when you are already planning the trip with friends. should have suggested a rain check with her "give me the grand tour next time" or some bs like that

Has happened to all of us OP. I’ll sometimes even stop texting/calling after the first few dates to see if a girl will initiate contact. If she doesn’t, I move on. I’m trying to date an adult...not some high school clown who searching for drama or the thrill of being chased. It’s a sign of that or they aren’t interested.

I’ve stopped texting some women because I lost interest or discovered something that’s a deal breaker. Some have texted repeatedly back practically begging for attention. They wanted it. Those that didn’t respond back, didn’t. Use it as a means of weeding them out OP.
