Rate my Christmas Eve cocktail /10

1.75 oz mezcal
0.5 oz lemon juice
0.5 oz honey or honey syrup
0.5 oz dry vermouth
2-3 dashes of firewater bitters
Shake all together, strain into glass. Too off with lemon soda water or peach whatever you have in hand.

Post a pic itt. I saw some whistlepig rye at my local store, so tempted to get it but close to 80 bucks for a 750ml. I wonder if its worth the hype.

I’ve had Four Roses once and enjoyed. Saw a bottle at Costco and though about getting it. It was kinda pricey for how small the bottle is so I went with the Woodford Reserve. Did I goof brah?

The limited editions and single barrel stuff can get a bit expensive. But I usually buy the regular Four Roses since it’s my go to for cocktails, 1.75L goes for 40 bucks around here so really good and affordable. Wood Ford is good, but I wouldn’t sip on it like I do with Four, I like the slightly sweeter mellower taste of Four.
