So I just said sorry I'm busy and avoided the whole drama.”

“God you're pathetic. The only thing you are correct on is that if I had wanted something to happen, it would have.

So the other guy was interested and thought it was a date? How could that be if it were completely innocent and he’s just a guy friend wanting to hang out?

I don’t feel like you’re being completely upfront and you probably shouldn’t...it’s your business and none of us are qualified to help you. All I’m saying is, there’s two sides to every story and you will NEVER get the whole story from one person as I feel you’re already twisting and weaving your way around a narrative you’d like to present.

Good luck on the relationship hunt if your even interested in that. I don’t think you were with the right one...
TBH I'm not being completely upfront, but not in the way that you think. I've told two people the truth in private messages, but some stuff is so bad I'm basically hating on myself right now that I was ever so dumb as to keep taking him back for as long as I did. I deserve all the abuse just for being so stupid.

I guarantee if I sent the links or told you what to Google you'd have different opinion, but I don't really want misc detectives. So no way of proving anything.

He'd told me lots of lies, a lot of it I just found annoying tbh (stuff like pretending he was former kickboxing champion when really he'd just done a couple of amateur fights, and that he'd played league professionally when he hadn't, that kinda stuff, that didnt really hurt me but made me irritated that he'd fraud so much) but there was some very ugly history involving some of his exs.

Originally I believed him, that his ex was lying but as time went on, I started to see more and more of the same behaviour she'd described and started to have a lot of doubts.

I found it weird too, tbh, that a grown man would have posted several times on social media about a former friend like that. Especially given that he was high profile with a fair bit of influence in certain sporting circles. It was also disturbing how many other people had commented on those posts saying that he'd screwed them over, too and the number of women claiming that he'd been abusive to them.

As for the other guy who gave me a ride home after work several months back, it was completely innocent. Trains were cancelled, he offered, I was glad I didn't have to pay for a taxi. A week or so later he asked if I wanted to go get dinner sometime, I didn't know for sure if he was asking me on an actual date or just being friendly but didn't think it'd be appropriate to go, so said I was busy.
Just move on, clearly you werent happy, that all that matters now anyways. At least now you have hopes for the future.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

It’s nearly impossible to find two like-minded people, both available, both with similar values that are in the same stage in their life. They always seem to be unequally yoked (seems like an appropriate term for today). When a relationship starts going south, the one trying to salvage the relationship seems to invest so much energy in to “fixing” the other person and the relationship or trying to maintain a status quo that just isn’t working.

You have to realize that really, the only thing you have control over in a relationship is you. You can only fix you. So why not work on what you CAN control? Why not make the best version of yourself as possible? Everything else seems to fall in line when you do that. You tend to be a happier person and happier people tend to gravitate toward you. Your relationships improve, your mood improves, your outlook improves.

All this sounds corny and simple, but I’ve found it to be most effective.

This. Exactly what you said is what I did with my ex. I was trying to change her when in reality she needed to change herself.

I changed my approach and it's way better for me.
I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people. Thank you.

Yeah, you're right.

He was just bringing me down and I'm better off without him anyway.

Turns out flights aren't refundable so I decided fuk it I'm still going on my holidays without him, put an extra ticket on the credit card for my daughter and will pay it off later.

Got lots to look forward to. 2021 is going to be a great year.

Comments that are currently the official policy of the US military should Trump continue with his coup? lol

Secret Service are the ones who will carry it out lmfao.

We won. He's done.

Also btw I never even got so much as a phone call. Do you know why? Because half the country, including most of the secret service themselves feel this way. lol
