Why are women so much more like to take "selfies"?

Looking through random instagrams and almost every woman has 100x (or more) of selfies than men. Is it a societal pressure to look "pretty" (lol..most dont') OR is it what I suspect something that is biological and innate?

Not to mention buttpics, bodypics, etc.

Leave women alone! They don't need attention you misogynistic pig, they make 10000 pics of their asses and put them online just cos it's art, not for you to see them as sexual objects.

Sadness and emptiness.

If you have nothing else to offer, they being a desirable object is as good as it gets.

There's some people who are very smart and have great personalities and even if they were a brain in a tank with a speaker, many people would be happy they were still alive in some way.

People taking "butt shots" are not those people. And, when their butt quality fades, they will have nothing.

The only valid justification for selfies is if you are far away from loved ones and posting them makes them feel good and helps connect you.

There is no reason for butt shots.

funniest is them with the strong filters, like they saw what they looked like IRL and said ewww, then had to put the filter on. lmao, deep down they know they are aging haggered glowless sloots but they cope. some beta timothies will tell them how pretty they are in the comments but their subconscious knows they had to put the filter on.

Vanity really. Women are a lot more vain than men on the regular, and their lifestyle is far more centered around their looks. That and it's the way women try to flex on each other on the internet. A lot of them are big on the internet clout and do it for attention, sloots love attention. It's a way for them to cope with how boring they are with taking pictures of themselves like "look at me look at me" kind of attention whoring.
