I am an ultrasound technician working in one of the top hospitals in world and this is spoken about all over.

Just the other day I overheard the chief physician talking about how we need at least 50 more intensive care rooms. And this isnt some chit/ crap/ disgusting hospital like most of you guys have near. It is top. Also our patients are top too. Not peasant trash like most of you.

I can think of tons of reasons that the Dakotas don't prove anything, varying from the sample size so small it's meaningless to the extreme climate driving people to be close together indoors (which is known to cause illnesses to spread). None of these have to do with masks, which, btw, don't work anyway especially considering they promote unsafe practices for preventing virus spread.

A better analogy would be, it's your choice to speed in a school zone. You don't give a crap if you kill a kid along the way because you have somewhere to get to. It's not that you don't fear death. You don't fear someone else dying due to your negligence.

He's basically saying the increased traffic in malls/airports/stores, and the family gatherings which have been pointed out to me countless times in this thread are going to result in increased cases and increased deaths before we can start to see some sort of benefits of herd immunity from the vaccine in Q2 2021.

I haven't stopped my regular activities so I've likely been in close contact with hundreds who had it. My wife came down with a respiratory tract infection in late March that was likely covid and I got the sniffles for 2 days, so likely I already have.

It's gonna be interesting to see how many of those who refuse to take the vaccine change their mind if they wish to travel overseas. You would imagine it's gonna be a requirement for most countries going forward now.
