If you were an alcoholic you'd be dependent on alcohol to function and would probably have some kind of major issues (gambling debts, homelessness, sh!tty job, etc).

I don't think a single drink everyday to unwind is a big deal. It used to be normal to drink everyday, until ******s took power and started to making alcohol consumption look bad. People literally used to drink at work, and it was completely common (stories from my grandfather, dad and uncles).

Now having more than "4" drinks in one sitting in binge drinking LMAO.

no, but I'd worry about how much you are smoking OP.

Look man I usually drink 5 bottles of beer, a shot of tequila and 5 shots of ouzo (some Greek drink).

I wanna up my game but my wife keeps on emptying them down the toilet any chance she gets.

I haven't had a drink in 6 weeks, but I just bought a 6 and I'm having them all today starting now.

I firmly believe in the studies where lines are drawn on what constitutes an alcoholic, but you gotta live every now and then.

To answer your question, 1 a day ain't bad.

I stand by the 14 drinks per week rule as a benchmark for myself. I know I said fully believe them, but I'm changing that.

I'm not a scientist though. These studies also don't take into consideration height and weight, I'd imagine, with 14 drinks/day being a very blanket statement

14 drinks a week is a good benchmark and easy enough to not cross over the line.

For the past 8 years it’s been 14+/week. My liver enzymes are through the roof. Attempting a 3 month hiatus from booze starting a few days ago. Feeling confident due to supplementing with ganja and lifting heavy

That first sip makes your head spin. Totally worth not drinking the other 363 days

Used to have a drink each night but stopped a few months ago. Just wasn't feeling it. Maybe start again sometime.

Get that drink in before you eat - empty stomach. You’ll feel it.

Enjoy for a bit then eat and you’ll be like you had a glass of water maybe

Nah but once you get up to 3+ on weekdays and much more than that on weekends there's a very good chance it's taking a toll on you.

none. was never a fan of drinking tbh.

youre only an alcoholic if you have an addiction to it. regardless of amount, if you have cravings for liquor.. you are by definition an alcoholic.

My Claw intake has skyrocketed during Covid.

I need to drink boatloads of water because of:
1) EC Stack
2) Beers
3) Recently started creatine
