Oh I know it works both ways here. My point is that if the shooter had been black, the story wouldn't have been posted. The fact that the guy was "special forces" is also click-bait. He wasn't deployed and nothing he did in the murders stands out as something only a trained professional could do. Substitute 'Special Forces' with 'Uber Driver' and see if you get the same reaction. It most likely wouldn't make it into the headline.

I think him being special forces makes it worse because military, similar to cops, are supposed to shoot the "bad guys" and not our own. Also makes you wonder if this was some form of PTSD or what. I mean, a bowling alley isn't a place I'd expect someone to pull out a gun and start dropping bodies.
