When did you stop enjoying the bar scene?

I loved the hitting the bars from the day I turned 21 until about age 22 1/2. Started to detest it by 23. I got my fill of that chit in about 18 months. Now if I ever end up in those situations (rare, even before covid), I find myself having to waste a bunch of money so I can drink myself stupid enough to put up with all the dipshiiit drunks around me there.

I could still hit up legit pubs with the boys for beers and bs'ing if the dictator of our state weren't still abolishing that, though.

I don't drink and I'm a 2/10 so the only bar I used to go to was also a restaurant.

I don't drink, so it was never a place I enjoyed. It was only a place I would go to hang out with friends back in college. We had some regular spots to go to, but overall the area my college was in was kinda boring at the time I was there. A couple of bars, and a small shopping area was about it back then.

Just keep on going.

Never really stopped, but my interest has waned since I don't drink nearly as much as I used to.

But I used to drink a lot, and since I got more talkative and horny when drunk, bars and pubs were a good place to be at.

I still enjoy the bar scene, but mostly the brewery/biergarten types where the vibes are much better and the crowd is younger. Old school bars are kind of a drag.

Still enjoy going to them, mainly just to meet people and have a good time. I’ve legit almost always went while in a relationship and girls who flirt with me assumed my gf was a friend lmao, my last gf was also a bartender so that was kind of fun I guess

i went to bars in college because it was something to do with my friends. i mostly havent really gone since then unless with a girl or on work trips when coworkers are wanting to go.

Going out to bars (Think Irish/Dive/Cocktail/Restaurant Lounges if the vibe is right) with friends is a pastime I will be enjoying for the rest of my life srs.

Its always a good time knockin a few back with the broskis, with the gf, or a combo of both, and this lockdown bs has made me miss the fk outta that.

Clubs on the otherhand, with its degenerate sloots and baffoonery , ridiculous cover charges, conversation drowning music, snobby service, and extremely marked up prices can go to hell. I have 0 interest for that. They can burn to the ground for all I care.

i hate people so the only way i really enjoyed them was when i was hammered drunk so i don't have to tolerate them sober

so i'd end up with a 2 day hangover

after a while it just became not worth it

Restaurant bars are sometimes still okay since you can eat and there's usually eye candy.

Hole-in-the-wall/dive bars were fun till around 25/26. Mostly men and occasional eclectic chicks.. most of the girls would look and dress like heroin addicts. I think the draw when I was younger was the sense of possible danger.
