Way more than half break the law or violate the constitution on a daily basis.

That's stupid. Baiting in Uber drivers - who generally decrease the amount of DUIs and are making low wages - to commit a crime under the guise of helping them... there's not really any ill intent and if I were stuck without a phone and a ton of luggage for whatever reason it would be cool for someone to help, but this is why we can't have nice things.

My guess would be the Los Angeles Department of Transportation was losing money in Taxi permits/applications, and decided Uber/Lyft were to blame, complained to a city council member they had in their pocket who then complained to some Police Captain who wants to get in good with the city council, so they put together this "sting" operation. Dumb.

We have one gentleman here who isn't afraid to step up and not toe the line.
