What do your characters look like boyos? interested in seeing, this is mine right now:

I shelved my copy for now so I haven't played a minute myself

but I'm kinda confused about the entire discussion

watched the entire video and like many other videos I've seen it pictures the game as a complete mess (the character following that won't go away, cars and NPC's always respawning, bugs, glitches, ...)

but I also hear a lot of people -like you- say that despite this they enjoy the game

so to me it's on of these scenarios:

- what is shown as a buggy mess in the videos is highly exaggerated
- some people are masochists

but I don't see how they can be combined tbh

if I had my Series X I would've tried for myself but still on a waiting list... not even gonna bother on my One S

PC version seems to have a lot less of the bugs than console for the most part. But people have been hyping this up for years so their tolerance to issues is pretty high. So unless the issues are physically making it impossible to play then they get a pass. I mean, I put in over 100 hours in any new Fallout/Elder Scrolls game and they are rife with issues at launch. I think I've pretty much desensitized myself to a lot of things because of Bethesda games. Because I like the cyberpunk motif and got a PC with an RTX card just being able to explore the map makes up for most of the annoyances. But if I was playing on a last gen console? I'd be rather pissed off about the game too.

and other than the crashes i had at the beginning, i have noticed some of the bugs but nothing that would deter me away from playing. i got that black bar that wouldnt go away or a couple times i got combat music that wouldnt stop playing, just reloaded my save or restarted my comp. thats happened only a couple times after 50 hours of playing this game. if you have a PC with a good card then id go for it but maybe wait on console. the game is absolutely gorgeous visually, it's insane. there's a LOT of great parts about this game and i am having a blast playing, chitty AI that can get fixed is not high on my care list.

Spent almost 2 weeks without touching this game, then went back to my 2nd character and sunk time again...

I love this game, but it frustrates me almost as much.

Yep, exactly how I feel. I think I played this game last was a week ago and dont have an "itch" to get back .... I'll just wait for more updates

Beat every side mission and the main game. It was a 3 out of 5. Combat was too easy in the later stages of the game. The guns were cool to use but AI are brain dead. I lost the will to play the game after I beat all the side missions. Forced myself to complete the main missions. I will come back to the game for a second go around once it is fixed and optimized with DLC. I think the game had a lot of potential. Devs must be crying because you can see the hard work they put into it but were forced to release it early.

Yeah I just did that one right after. Kenny was pissed.

One thing they NEED to fix on the game though is the police spawning out of nowhere when you just happen to attack someone. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Or accidentally run over someone who jumps in front of you while you're actively trying to avoid them? lol. Had some cops pop in during a mission, shot them cause I thought they were enemies. 4 Stars later... oops.Spoiler!

The Caliburn is very cool looking, but I hated driving cars in general in Cyberpunk. Basically the only vehicle I used was the Akira bike.

I'm paying Ghost of Tsushima while I wait for this January patch.

Def agree with that, my first vehicle ever in cyberpunk was the Kusanagi, much easier to get around on a bike

The best car to drive is the Nomad 66 because of the speed and handling and it’s not too over steery. It lets you do a nice stable drift without spazzing out left and right.

Pretty much the Nomad cars are way better in general in both handling, (because they try to model rally car arcade physics) and also because those cars actually look like they are from the future with a little bit of mad Max flavor.

The regular cars handle bad, are slow, and kinda not that cool.

If the future is so dangerous why have luxury cars that look like they are from today?

Nomad cars are the only cool cars. Esspecially the Nomad QuAdra 66

Yeah if I had to pick any car to drive every day I'd prolly go with the Shion Coyote but they are all great.

God damn it's so fun using the Netwatch Netdriver, just ping the entire area and release a few Contagions and the entire building is dead. Just saved this Lucy lady who was working on some Maelstorm dude and she didn't want to leave so I blew the guy's head off right in front of her and that made her come.

In regards to your rep comment about Skippy:
You don’t HAVE to turn him in. You can keep him forever. You can also keep him in “stone cold killer” mode forever IF you know ahead of time to pick the “puppy dog” setting or whatever the fk it was first.
Basically whatever setting you choose when you first get him, after 50 kills with him he permanently flips to the opposite setting and there’s absolutely nothing you can do to go back. So if you know ahead of time, you can keep him forever with no nerf. Many believe it’s the best pistol in the game.

I've crafted the clothes I wanted but the colors don't match... feels bad. Sucks that you can't do something as simple as dyeing them like in Witcher 3.

Gotta admit that Keanu's performance seems like one of the weaker in the game (to the point I've reached anyways), which is surprising considering his pedigree and apparent excitement about the project way back when. I still find the content interesting and it's cool having Keanu there, but his delivery of the dialogue etc leaves something to be desired IMO when compared to some of the performances in Cyberpunk or any number of other games

so basically, their reason for the game being short is a load of bullchit. the actual reason was that they had to scrap a bunch of things that were so buggy and unfinished that they wouldnt have finished them on time

A 160gb game cut down to 60gb is astonishing
