I wish you all would appreciate the magnificent achievement of scientists to build an identification test so quickly and then a vaccine. What has been achieved is perhaps the greatest feat in the history of medical science. This is in spite of the bullchitters like those of you ITT standing in their way.

I think it took longer than 2 days, but the fact that it took less than a year is an incredible testament to how far we have come as a species. I also want to stress that Chinese scientists rapidly identified the agent and sequenced it. Science knows no boundaries. It was the work of all of the great scientists in medicine all over the world that led to our ability to do this, and frankly, it makes me proud of our species. All I ask is that you hear these people out and look at their arguments and data. If you keep an open mind and an open heart, you may just learn something and appreciate what has been achieved.

Most of you won't even follow basic guidelines for safety. People worked tirelessly on getting these vaccines out and you won't even take them out of some irrational fear. If you would watch the videos, you'd understand more of the theory behind the vaccines. They are not harmful. A 10 year study would show that, but you don't have that kind of time. None of those people are better experts themselves. There are always people on the fringes and people who succumb to fear. Frankly, this is not the time for that. We are at a critical moment here in human history. This is a battle between science and reason and emotional fear. There is almost no conceivable way this virus is somehow better than the vaccine. You are faced with two options: to take the vaccine or to not take it. And given the circumstances, it is rational to take it.

The mortality rate of the vaccine is even lower. So why not take it?

Also there are many negative effects from this virus that do not include death. It is a legitimate public health concern regardless of its mortality rate.

Threatening to kill a sitting president doesn't result in a perma ban?

The only reason his ban was lifted, Is because he spends 23 of the 24 hours in the day spamming this forum, Making it look like there is much more traffic on this forum.
