I beg to differ. I think that image is pretty spot on. That's what makes it so funny when LOB posts it.

And being an annoyance that offers nothing to a thread =/= living rent free.
Your schtick sucks and it screams insecurity.

It's ok, I know you're part of the mouth breather crew. And thanks for admitting that you are nothing but an annoyance ITT.

Edit : I mean, if your aspirations in life are to suck up to LOB, you keep doing you - you're doing an excellent job.

He's proved he's a troll since he refuses to answer my questions. I've taken note of his tactics and used them against him, and that should end any further discussion with him. He is now generally ignored, and I intend to continue using his tactics against him in the future when I feel inclined.

This is an impressive 22pg pissing contest. Can we all agree that the world is too complicated and we NEED AI to process information and make logically consistent decisions?

Also let's not pretend that the situation now is the same as it was at the beginning of the pandemic.

About studies on the use of ivermectin as a treatment:

https://covid19criticalcare.com/wp-c...n-COVID-19.pdf

Meanwhile in the US press ivermectin is being shot down as "unproven" with claims that it hasn't been sufficiently tested though it has certainly been through the entire process w/FDA to be approved as safe.

Couldn't possibly have anything to do with the narrative shoving vaccines at everyone, or more expensive drugs? No possible conflict of interest between our mainstream media and public health when pharmaceutical companies are involved right?

How many TV commercials in any given hour are for pharmaceuticals?

You had one question and I can't answer it if I don't want to be detectived. However, a rudimentary search on google would yield you the result that you are looking for - this is a step you don't want to take, since you are happy calling out people for strawmanning, but at the same time that's all you're capable of yourself.

You on the other hand, have to link a a single study, that you haven't been able to.

Or you could just admit that you made all that up in an effort to look smarter than you really are.

I don't think you do. And I don't think it's that hard to see who pisses further. On the one hand you have MIT, UW, Nature, a bunch of Nobel laureates, a bunch of medical professors, a bunch of doctors and health policy experts. On the other hand, you have Donald Trump, a bunch of uneducated miscers, and that's about it. It shouldn't be a hard decision to make here. When you ask for help with your math homework, you ask the person who did the best in the course or even your professor in math, right? Well. When you need help with the virus, it's probably best to ask the virologists, immunologists, and medical doctors who dedicated their lives to studying this stuff. Crazy idea, I know. It's also the pinnacle of hubris for these jackasses to sit here and argue about it and call it all propaganda because they are too stupid to pass their science courses and thus wish to invalidate the entire field to masturbate themselves and make them feel better about their intellectual inferiority.

The purpose of this thread was never to get suckered into a debate with crackpots. The purpose was to inform and educate, and I have. There are several who have repped me for my post. I will continue to add relevant covid news and information as I find it and continue bumping my thread to combat disinformation.

If other nefarious posters wish to bump my thread with their vitriol, they can feel free to do so. I will most likely ignore their responses unless I find them worth engaging.

I mean, if the intent was to inform, you would have just posted in the sticky. It's clear the thread was made with the intent of it to be a pissing contest, and at the first sign of any disagreement, you devolve into calling people names.

Still waiting on sources for those claims you made.

Ahh you answered me. Very good. Now, presumably you are from Michigan, yes?

https://www.mlive.com/public-interes...ry-stores.html
The new stay-at-home order, which takes effect 11:59 p.m. April 9, 2020 and runs through April 30, takes the place of the previous order and bars non-essential business and travel outside the home.

Grocery stores and other retailers that sell food, medicine and other essentials are allowed to remain open during the stay-at-home order, although they’ll now be subject to additional occupancy restrictions and be required to shut down non-essential areas of the store, including sections dedicated to carpeting, flooring, furniture, garden centers, plant nurseries or paint.
Looks like Whitmer actually ordered that nonessential aspects of Walmart be closed too. Kind of throws a wrench in your entire argument, doesn't it? Looks like she made it fair after all. So you were basically just bsing the entire time. Good to know. Exactly the kind of thing I'd expect from some pseudo-intellectual.

Imagine linking an article from almost a year ago, and from Michigan. Just LOL.

Now, please go and google some more. Thanks for confirming that you are your research after you made the statements.

You could just admit that you didn't know what you were talking about.

Edit : Even bigger LOL at providing a link that proves my example correct:
The decision to shut down parts of stores that aren’t food and medicine comes shortly after the Michigan Farm Bureau requested the governor consider the retail sale of plants essential infrastructure, suggesting retailers were willing to comply with increased restrictions like curbside delivery.

OK well if you're not going to tell what state you're in or at least provide any evidence of what you are talking about, back to ignore. Waste of effort. You don't seem to genuinely want to discuss anything. You should realize we have 50 states and that not every state has the same rules.

This whole "argument" started when you said that the "response to the pandemic" is not politically motivated at all.

Then you started spouting unsubstantiated claims that I am just picking at now - because it's fun to do so, since you will keep spouting BS and coming up with strawman just to avoid saying that you didn't actually know.

Neither are you.

Now, can you start looking for those studies that confirm your statements, or are you going to admit you were just making chit up?

Edit : Here's proof that you were just pretending to know:

They could, or they did?

Edit 2: Seems you missed this part of the post because you were concentrating on being juvenile. this is from the articleyoulinked:
The decision to shut down parts of stores that aren’t food and medicine comes shortly after the Michigan Farm Bureau requested the governor consider the retail sale of plants essential infrastructure, suggesting retailers were willing to comply with increased restrictions like curbside delivery.
They were pressured into making that decision, because they forced garden centers to close before that.

So yes, this is where you go "sorry, I was wrong, I didn't know".

They could, and they did in that case. Keep in mind it is different per state. I'm not getting suckered into answering your questions again, you sociopath. Give and take.

The argument is really simple, and it's not made up at all. Small indoor commercial areas were generally recommended closed by the CDC if there were a large number of cases present in the population. Presumably, this would include small mom and pop style stores. Grocery stores (or large retailers with grocery sections like Walmart) were generally allowed to be open with some head count restrictions. You can see that one of the justifications here is ventilation. The other, as I mentioned is supply chain. You probably don't want to believe the CDC thought of all of this, but they did. Anyway, if you don't believe me, you can call the CDC and ask them. None of this seems to have been political. Glad I answered your questions.

And if you want studies about ventilation considerations and how they relate to the spread of covid, a quick google search will get you there.

Would you agree to a vaccination bribe? A lot of economists have been saying if people don't take the vaccine that the govt should bribe them to take it.

I've seen people float around $200 initially and then an additional $800 to everyone if the threshold for vaccination for herd immunity is met. Seems a bit low imo.

But I bet if the govt did like $2000 and then an additional $8000 if everyone got it, people would do it. It would be a nice COVID stimulus as well. Seems smart to do something like this.
