Isn't that now a short barrel rifle requiring a special ATF stamp? Can't recall the min barrel length to be considered a rifle.

Das it mane. Whenever you can, you should upgrade your brace to the SBA4. The LOP adjustability & mil-spec buffer tube is very much worth it.

Here in the states, in most states, a pistol is defined through a combination of overall length and features.
In my state a pistol is anything under 16" in length, having a pistol grip, but no buttstock.
If it were under 16", had a pistol grip, and a buttstock it would be considered a short-barrel rifle (SBR) and would fall under NFA.
