"Coinbase was valued at more than $8 billion in 2018 after a $300 million funding round led by Tiger Global Management. The company, started in 2012, has raised more than $500 million from backers that also include Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator and Greylock Partners, according to its website. Coinbase said it has has more than 35 million verified users in more than 100 countries and more than $25 billion in assets on its platform."

Im very eager for coinbase ipo right now. Their fees alone are way more than any stock broker, and it’d by percentage, not a flat rate per trade.
Most normies use coinbase, and not coinbase pro.


Idk why PYPL is lower in pre market. They and SQ bought all of the newly mined btc in November, and I assume they’re buying more. Btc has gone up by like 20% the last two weeks. I imagine PYPL will make a run soon.

I'm glad I got out of silver and miners. For the most part, their performance has been underwhelming other than in one really good month (especially miners, as many didn't even outperform SLV), and since then they've just chopped around. You'd think that guaranteed massive stimulus will send them rocketing up today, but nope.

They might still have their day, but I expect everything else to go up as well if that happens.

We can only hope. The fact that it's traded effectively sideways for so long considering how much of a powerhouse it is...i can only imagine it's purely the price tag. Hell even me, my portfolio is not...smallish...but it's still annoying to look and want to jump in with a couple of K yet see a 3K price tag.
