If choosing a career with a decent proximity to women, you don't need as much of ...

... a social circle and hanging around places to chase women.

Of course, take care of your looks and social skills but if you don't like approaching in bars/clubs or online dating IMHO careers with a decent amount of women is not bad.

Anecdotally, all of my brahs who are just as nerdy but in professions like nursing, medicine, teaching seem to get pussy and long-term relationships through work.

Law and Finance brah seem to also do better from work connections in that regard (not being an Investment banker and going models and bottles).

In contrast, Computer Science, Engineering and being a Tradie is a sausage fest.

Although, in CS there is a good polarisation of Asian females so you can be the next generic white psychopath software engineer with an Asian girl resting on his shoulder like myself.

Used to get women a lot when I worked retail. Now? Not so much lol. And with things shutdown it definitely ain't easy.

Pretty fair points OP.

I've been married for a very long time, so I'm not looking for women. But as a teacher, I'm surrounded by women (not just at school but at professional developments and other functions, etc) and I'm sure a single guy would have little trouble meeting young, single (or middle-aged, non-single, if that's your thing) females.

Can agree. Have a friend who works with a lot of women and he always gets invited to gatherings with them.

I myself am a tradie and work with nothing but men which sucks. I wish I finished my nursing degree back then

I disagree. I work with like 99,99 percent of women and I definitely feel the need to go out and socialize. I wouldnt neccessarily call it chasing but Id flirt with women
