It’s such an oddball choice, I don’t think many people here will have ever even experienced that car

I had one several years ago before they spun off. Great drive, bought used but still lost a ton of value off of it.

yessiri was shocked at how nice it was, interior reminded me exactly of a bmw and the car itself handles and looks solid af. From the back they're bland but the the side and back it looks stoutim buying used the value drops off a cliff, any issues with repairs or maintenance?

Save your time and money and just get a run of the mill midsize sedan. No point in trying to ball out in a hyundai. It's like buying no name or walmart brand "great value" mac n cheese.

They are pretty slick looking. Mistake them for legit lux sedans. Never been inside one.

I think the Hyundai stigma is wearing off. I see a chit ton of the suvs. One of my friends who is a legit car guy (owned Ferrari’s, lambos, Bentley, Audi, porsches) and daily drives a Saleen s1 got a Sonata to get beat up at the airport and says he can’t believe what a good car it is (for what it is).

I have a Stinger which I like more than it's Genesis equivalent which is the G70, I have a co worker that has a G80 and it's very nice, very plush, but also strikes me as a bit of an old man's car. As far as build quality and such, it's surprisingly good. As good as an MB in the same price range, plus it has a 10 year warranty and three years of free maintenance where they will come pick your car up.

I was set on buying an S5 SB, and after test driving the Stinger, I ended up with the Stinger. I'm very happy with it, but would be happier if it came with a manual tranny.

I'd rather have the G70

there's nothing more impressive than kia's warranty and I actually went to a kia dealer to test drive a used genesis. They're really doing something right over there there wasn't a single car on that lot that looked cheap or out of place (one of the reasons I think toyota dealers are kind of off putting, you walk past 10 weird cheap as dirt base models to look at 1 nice car), I fckin love the k5's too I think they look 10/10. Overall I think kia's are winning in terms of style and quality over Hyundai's but I think Hyundai is intentionally lowering the bar to push the genesis up as their high end stuff.

too small for me, the g80 is a surprisingly big ****in car and I know a lot of people aren't fans of that but I loved it.
