It took 420 replies to finally get to the root of the problem. You weren't looking for a casual hookup whereas she was. It was bound to end in a 20 page thread on the misc because you weren't on the same page from the jump. Honestly I think you probably sent some misleading signals in your initial interactions that you were down. The whole thing must've been one huge clusterfuk of awkwardness on both your ends.

And for everyone saying you still have a shot, let me be brutally honest. NO YOU DON'T. Just drop it and save yourself more damage to your self esteem. Take it as a learning experience and move on.

I believe this was to try to convince himself more than anything else or that they would hit it off on a long term relationship level
