Sure you can find work but if you can just keep your job but work remotely that's better...even doctors and engineers make a smaller ratio than what an USA counterpart would, and that's before dollar exchange.


For example, 5000 pesos a week is considered excellent in MX, which is only $250 USD lmao. (This is for "career" folk who have gone to school.)

Minimum wage here in the US brings in around 1200/month or 300 a week.






My cousin is a doctor finishing her specialty in neonatal surgery making 50k and will probably never break 100k USD /yr.

if i didn't have kids i'd do it in a heartbeat...been working remotely since March, looks like it will be a while in Canada since things get back to normal. Quebec has mandatory curfews, and looks like we (Ontario) will be next. I have a wife and 2 kids to keep my occupied, but if i was single i'd probably be ready to off myself.
