25 year old dies from Covid

Thought the misc might like this one

https://www.theguardian.com/world/20...o-follow-rules

Just had it for a week. Wasn't pleasant. Can understand why older folk don't want to get it. Not sure shut-down-the-world-for-a-year-worthy but certainly worse than a heavy cold.

For some reason whenever I try to it doesn't work these days.

The reason why it's on the news is because it's extremely uncommon, propaganda used to scare the masses. Less than 1 % of all the deaths are people under 35, she was obviously obese as well, one of the prevalent indicators of a poor outcome.

Well that's nice that it's worse than a cold because the flu is worse than a cold
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

"Family of 25-year-old Covid victim plead with people to follow rules"

Why didn't they plead with her to listen to every single study ever written regarding the effects obesity have on people

She was doomed from the get go:

"Lauren had a condition called complex regional pain syndrome in her foot, which meant she used crutches. She also had high blood pressure – but her parents say they had not believed her to be at high risk from Covid-19."

Brutal

I don’t wanna admit I lol’d

Sad story srs

But why is it alarming? They said in the early days that people who have underlying condition and obese are at higher risk.

From the article, she used crutches. This makes physical activity harder in respects, but not impossible.

I do find it infuriating that virtually no government or media have recommended losing weight, eating healthy, getting exercise, adequate sleep and sunshine. THose were and are the CDC's general health guidelines, and the link with Covid is well documented by the U.S. government.

Well there you have it. She was at higher risk because her foot was sore, not because her blood type was alfredo.

She knew she took a health risk when she decided to become morbidly obese.
It’s sad, but she knew the risk she put herself at.
