Californian brahs that use Uber Eats - do you still tip?

So I am using Uber Eats for the first time in months, and as we all know Prop 22 passed. Now I see there's a $2 "California Benefit's Charge" and now drivers are getting paid minimum wage + more.

So does this mean I don't need to tip? Or should I just tip a dollar or two?

I’ve only ordered a few times but **** is expensive and it’s better to pick it up but that beats the whole purpose

My car's radiator dun goofed so I gotta get that fixed. I was thinking about walking somewhere but nah I'm gonna be extra lazy today.

If the food is a lot better than you expected, then it should be acceptable to tip. But only if it's also acceptable to reverse-tip (ie. pay less) if the food is less than expected.

I used to order those huge sonic blasts and they’d always come slightly melted so I’d get a refund lol.

That's actually kind of how my tipping system works at restaurants. I start out at 10%, then it either goes down or up. For example: if I wait way too long for a refill, it goes down depending on how long.

I don't use uber eats but I have started tipping for takeout - something I never did pre covid

I figure these people need it more than I do. Try to order from small local places too
