You’ve already stated you suffer with sleep paralysis, you’re in a rural area which you are not massively familiar with, the power went out so you had pitch black for however long you were already freaked out at the time because of everything else you heard that was going on. My conclusion is your sleep paralysis kicked in and you sleep walked and done some weird chit.

You already stated the reason the figurine in my living room was turned around could be that I turned it around to face the wrong way for no reason so if you think I could’ve done that then there’s no reason for the theory on you sleepwalking and moving these pictures to the ground isn’t plausible.

You sleep walked or something else happened that I cannot explain but it’s not ghosts lol. You often find that people that believe in ghosts go looking for these things and eventually find it whether that be some bullchit they manifest in their head so much they hallucinate and hear things that do not exist. This could also be the case for yourself.

If this legit happened then it’s absolutely a scary situation to be in however there is a logical reason behind what happened.

"Not massively familiar with". I've known that place since I was a child; I basically grew up there. And my sleep paralysis kicked in, but I sleep walked? Do you not see how that makes no sense? Besides, if I had "sleep walked" or whatever, a bunch of weird **** had already happened before that. I have never gone "looking for these things"; this isn't fuking Ghost Adventures, I want to be left alone, and I don't want to deal with that ****.

As for your story, I said "if you are sure" that you or someone else didn't move them, I never said that's what happened. But you know the wind explanation doesn't add up.

I’m not calling what you said bullchit but it’s obvious you very much “want to believe” so I’m more inclined to think you’re gonna throw out other explanations that might be plausible because you want it to have been a wendigochupacabrasasquatch that invaded the home. I just really don’t believe there’s any such thing as mythical creatures or ghosts and such so I genuinely think there was a legit reason for everything that happened. Maybe a mild earthquake in just that one area of a few square kilometres and you didn’t feel it.....before you laugh and call me stupid....there was an earthquake where I live before and was felt over a 100 mile radius, knocked tv’s off the walls but I didn’t even feel it, neither did my mum and neither did a lot of people I spoke to. I ain’t trying to chit on what your feelings are in regards to the paranormal I just truly think there is a reason for it, one of which I can’t explain because I know nothing about physics (is physics even something that would be used to prove or disprove what happened in this case, I don’t know?)

I also believe there’s an explanation for mine. The kid in the background laughing, the Friday 13th figure turned around and then hearing footsteps after it....the footsteps very well could’ve been in my head because I might’ve been on edge prior to this.

My dad was staying in some sleezy chitty motel one night with a woman he was seeing, he and this chick both seen this happen and he is ded fkn Srs that this happened....he was in bed and the curtains lifted up from the bottom of the floor then dropped. I said it was wind and he said it’s not possible as no windows were open and if wind was strong enough to lift them up and then just drop them like that he would’ve felt it and he said the way they lifted up and dropped was as if someone picked them up and dropped them rather than anything else. I believe that’s what he saw but there’s an explanation for it that’s not ghosts.

I enjoy hearing ghost stories and that, I think they’re fun but I don’t believe in them and until something significant happens I will not believe it.

Theres actulay a proven theory the mind sees things that aren't there when it's dark. So people might actulay see things but they aren't real.

It has to do with the primal brain. when it's dark and that person is feeling fear, the mind could project a ''possible hidden enemy'' in order to survive.

I don't, but I have a story that relates.

I was having drinks at a restaurant with a girl and the conversation somehow turned to ouija boards and whether we believe in spirits and what not. She stated she had never used a ouija board, and I mentioned that my experience with ouija boards was minimal, but in the few times I used them in my childhood, I was convinced that it was one of our friends moving the ouija device. Well, I wake up in the morning to my watch being off by hours. My watch has literally always kept perfect time to the second prior to and after this incident. The only plausible explanation is that this girl got up in the middle of the night to undo the time on my watch.

Chit creeped me out srs. Never even told the girl about it.

I think it’s something to do with your mind trying to make sense of shapes such as a bed post you can associate that with I don’t know a snake or some chit. Your brain needs to have reasoning and understanding of things even if you don’t want it the brain will automatically try to make sense of it.

That can be accounted as a coincidence. We’ve all had MAD coincidences and things that have happened that people wouldn’t believe unless they were there. Ever Been in a foreign country with some friends and you’re just randomly speaking about school or younger years and speaking about one guy in particular that a group of 10+ haven’t seen or even heard of in like 5-6 years then you leave the restaurant shortly after and walk past him on the street in a different country? Sometimes weird things just happen.

I don't "very much want to believe" anything. I just want an explanation that makes sense. I want the truth. When things happen, I want to know the reason why.

As for your mild earthquake explanation, that also makes no sense, unfortunately. First, if there had been an earthquake, however mild, it would have made the news. Second, if it was strong enough to dislodge the pictures from the walls, they would have fallen to the floor and broke, and I would have heard that if the hypothetical earthquake itself didn't wake me up. None of the pictures were broken, and they were propped up in odd positions on the floor against the walls.

Too long didn’t read Thread

Yes I believe in the spirit world

As far as demons/ Satan go the Muslims actually have the most accurate belief out of all the religions with the djinn

Neither good or bad , each one is different

The 72 goetic demons are the ones that King Solomon trapped in a brass vessel and used magick to control and do his bidding

Like mentioned earlier , neither good or bad , there are some very helpful demons from the goetia when you read and meet people of different practices of magick who use them

There are more demons iirc , you have to look through the keys of Solomon by Crowley because there’s another 32 or so demons as well mentioned in another book

Just like demons , there are 72 lesser angels and then shem angels which guard over every planetary signs then Ofc the 4 archangels

Angels are of a different order , celestial, while demons are of an infernal order

It’s also believed the demons of goetia are actually old infernal gods worshipped by ancient civilizations under different names but demonized due to the church

It’s a popular , and my belief as well , that there is no one true divine “god” and that demons and angels are simply yin and yang to each other

Demons being gods of a lower vibration and much closer to our plane while angels being on a much higher plane and farther away from ours

I truly believe this is why demons not only are much better for material gain but are closer to us because they understand our wants and desires better

As much as I dislike E.A. Koettings marketing and image, some of his older material is good and he did a good job explaining what demons are and how they work in his seminars

Ancient forces that want to act and manifest things for you because they simply are

they don’t follow a higher order but they do have a ranking system and free will

Angels on the other hand will only do things for you if it’s for the better of the universe , your higher self , humanity ,etc

They also have much less patience to be bothered for material things than demons

Not saying they’re not useful in their own way but the people who whole heartily trust them and completely avoid demons all together just because the Bible says they are servants of god are stupid imo

There are angels who have dislike for man as there are demons who do

“But-t-t it’s “white” magick, god will protect me”.......

Anyway I hope someone finds this information useful and neat

Things like that you’re never really gonna get an explanation for man. I won’t get an explanation for everything that happened to me but I know there’s not a “ghost” of a small boy that’s died that is now running around my house as a “ghost”. It would be cool to believe something like that is real but it’s simply not. I believe a lot of things that happen are related to our brain. Like because we’ve been speaking about this there’s a possibility my brain may be slightly on edge even questioning itself to the point where I get into bed tonight and I think I see something but of course it won’t actually be anything it’ll just be that we’ve spoke about this and it will have gotten me on edge.

I dunno if there’s a “minimum size” for an earthquake but it literally could’ve just been your house. The pictures could’ve fallen off even though technically other things in the house should’ve fallen off stands/walls etc but they didn’t. Sometimes if something falls it doesn’t always land like you’d expect it to which would explain them being on the floor propped against the wall.

Obviously that’s just one of the possible 3,575,500 things that could’ve happened, I don’t know what it is or what it was but it wasn’t a ghost or some mythical creature. I think there’s a logical explanation for it but I just don’t know what.

Believing in demons and that to me would mean there is a god and there is absolutely no god.

For those that don't believe...what would it take to change your mind?

Seeing? Nope
Hearing? Nope

Why do you believe in the world around you at all? You sense it the same as others have sensed ghosts.

I would like a ghost to come up to me, tell me they’re a ghost then do ghost stuff and disappear.

Never going to happen unless you work on opening your third eye , meditation and communicating with things not on this plane of existence.

Whether spirits are apart of the subconscious ( the most powerful thing in the world is the 99% of the brain we don’t use ) or exterior to us remains to be settled.

I believe it’s a little bit of both because your subconscious is your link to the other planes of existence. Crowley thought the goetia where sections of the brain until he started evoking them and trying evoke babalon (supposedly to cause the end of the world).

He really changed his tune towards the end of his life.

There is actually an anime kinda like that. Jujutsu Warriors IIRC. Humans' strong emotions and negative energy manifest into Curses that get up to mischief of the horror type.

And there is the idea that maybe we simply don't have the sensory apparatus to absorb everything that is really happening because all of that information would be too much for us to handle and not useful for our survival. So maybe weird stuff happens all the time, but we can't perceive it, or we block it out.

Shared before, but my personal experiences were more like the curtains being raised and then dropped...random, not threatening, just no normal explanation.

My first husband and his sister swore they had some encounter w/a poltergeist. My second husband's parents and his aunt and uncle all have stories of a haunted house that his parents lived in- hearing footsteps on the stairs, hearing a chair rocking downstairs, cabinet doors opened, dark figure in a room, and a smell of perfume that moved around so different people smelled it at different times. This wasn't all at once, but over time.

Had some weird stuff happen, like light flickering or turning on/off, random noises, etc. Nothing outstanding. I think it's possible they exist.

I found an abandoned house a while back and my friend saw what she thinks looks like 2 eyes in the window of the house, on one of the picture she took.

Do you see something or do you think she was reaching?

That looks like a typical creepy ghost house in the middle of nowhere that pic is awesome. However the “eyes” pic is 100% without doubt reaching for something that isn’t there. Even if it was eyes it might not mean anything, might be a fox that you didn’t see when you were in there or something yano. Regardless that is a sick pic.

I think I’m very much closed to the idea of there being another plane of existence if you will. Seems very hippy and acid trippy to me. Also the amount of fake fortune tellers/people that speak with the dead to me just says the whole thing is a big hoax.

One day I plan on eating shiitake mushrooms though and I’ve heard they’re life altering and will give you a different view on things.

Ghosts? I don't know.

Demons? Yes. Absolutely. 100% real. They are everywhere and there are more than you can count. You can only see their presence indirectly, but they are all around us. Angels are all around us too. There is the natural world which we can easily detect. There is also a supernatural (supranatural?) world which we can't.

Ghosts might be minor demons in disguise or they might be deceased souls stuck in purgatory. I don't know.

It's all written in the Qur'an.

See above comment. And yes, Solomon could communicate with Djinn but referring to them as demons is incorrect. There's some reference in Genesis about it and some stuff in the Qur'an.

Here are some Qur'an verses in Islam that talk about who djinns are and the story of Iblis:

I'm not an expert, but I do believe what is written and like I said, the accounts of paranormal activity across Earth witnessed by people of every kind only solidifies their existence.
You only read about them in the Quran? I was hoping you knew someone that had actual experience with them.

This is true. There's been a couple times when I woke up in the middle of the night while sleeping on my back, and thinking that I'm seeing a spider/black widow hanging right above my face, in both cases it scared the **** out of me and woke me up real quick, I jumped out of the bed and turned on the lights and there was nothing there. Just my mind playing tricks on me.

Ghost in a sense are real.

Not sure what they would exactly be classified as seeing as all religions and cultures across the planet have stories of these encounters.

If they were nearly a phenomenon of the mind then it would be strange to have group encounters as have happened.

There's plenty of scientific evidence over the years of strange encounters.
EVP phenomenon is one of the main ones, visual/audio evidence has been captured numerous times as well.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVEU6n2eKtg&t=11m36s

Personally had a few experiences including experiences in a group setting.
Never trying to force the encounter but having it happen non the less.

Experienced the following:
Shadow People
Ghost Apparition
EVP
Night Terror
Animals tracking orbs

From what I've read there may be an aspect to the phenomenon that is human in nature.
i.e. the reason you and others see it may be due to you being human.
Just as a camera cannot smell there may be an aspect to the spirit that you can identify as a human antenna that cameras cannot.
This could explain when people state they have seen a ghost and IR cameras pick up an orb of light - unknown why this occurs but science cannot explain what consciousness is and other aspects of being a human. (Science is 3D humans are 4D)

Each person vibrates at their own frequency, we know this is true just from mapping the mind in various states of concentration and relaxation.
For many of you that have not had a ghost experience, it may be due to you not vibrating at a frequency at the time to be able to view the whole apparition or manifestation. Some people could be more relaxed or more anxious at a given moment leading to them being in a different brain wave pattern and sine wave state when an orb/spirit/demon encounter occurs. Not sure if it's a higher or lower state, have a feeling higher states lead to more encounters.

Many times if you engage these phenomenon you will get a response.
Parapsychology studies have already shown scientifically/statistically effects of esp beyond what's needed to prove there is elements to the paranormal that is beyond simple chance. We're not talking quacks, we're talking University of California professors, etc.

BTW - if you encounter a real demon it would be wise to not engage unless you know what you are doing. Don't believe I've encountered a demon but there was a haunting in a friends apartment during college that would result in disembodied footsteps, lights flickering in response to questions, etc.

The world is strange.
What you seek you will find, you couldn't see it until you believed it...

Went on vacation few years ago in Vietnam. Went to visit friends relative up in the mountain village. We stayed at his uncle house. Had the upstair living space all to ourself. First night I slept in the room. Room was chilly and had lots of mirrors. In middle of the night I felt a pressure on my feet like someone laid their hand on the blanket. I immediately knew wtf is happening. I thought I was tripping out or just a dream. Or sleep paralysis. I stayed still and waited, mins later I felt it again. like someone touching the blanket. Again, I thought wtf. I stayed still and waited again. And again I felt like someone something is sitting on my leg like a light pressure. This time I freaked out got up and slept next to my friend. Didn't sleep whole night. Next day, I told my cousin wtf happened and he just smiled. That room I slept in was his lil brother. He passed away when he was 12. That was his room I was sleeping in. He said lot of his friend that slept over in that room experience something. Nobody stays upstairs. I have heard lots of stories from many people.

No way I believe someone has actually seen a ghost or a demon and if you have, then that's literally a figment of your imagination

But I guess you could say I could believe in the paranormal because there's definitely some chit that happens that can't be explained
