lol @ people saying Gladiator. Gladiator took place in ancient Rome. The Medieval ages began AFTER the fall of Rome.

Anyways... not a movie but a great mini-series: The Pillars of the Earth. I actually read the book after finishing GOT and googling another book that's similar. There is zero fantasy aspect but some really fascinating political drama. There's also some hnnnnggg Hayley Atwell scenes.
