Guys I need help with career
We were all hit by this covid crap but I find it really hard for me. The thing is, Ive been working in this pastry shop for 2 years now. Its a very popular shop in my country. I applied for this job in the first place because there are a lot of tourists and I can speak english, german with them. Its a workplace with almost all women. Lately I find it extremely hard and motivating to go there because I feel like I will never "move up the ladder" there. Coworkers constantly scold me and try to correct me even when I didnt make some big mistake, they tell me Im not very good at communicating with customers and they like to tease me a lot. Before you call me a fruit cake and tell me to man up I have to tell you that I honestly think Im not wanted there and that Im overstaying my welcome.
Im seriously thinking of quitting that and looking for a job but YESS HELLO COVID HERE there arent that many jobs to find. I want to work with tourists and I need a job that applies my language knowledge but what can I find?? I was thinking of finding a workplace in some hotel or a restaurant because Im aiming for that position in the future because I will probably go to university to study for it (tourism). But there are no those types of jobs to find here.
I dont know what the hell should I do. I was thinking of joining an army or something lmao

if you are in Germany joining the army aint so bad. Find what you are passionate about, be passionate about it, and hone your skills and learn constantly from mistakes.

Truth is no one is gonna choose your path for you. You gotta dive into..something. For me it was something I knew 0 things about, which scared me/found intimidating, 7 years later and 4x the salary can't say I can complain. Just find something that seems manageable to you but by God find something that is in demand (tourism and other soft crap isn't). Good luck.

Why not try to join the military and learn multiple languages. You could work in intelligence or dignitary visits by being an interpreter.
Also, dont slack off at work. Best time to get a job is when you have one.
