USD is getting wrecked!

Dropping in value every day and scheduled to drop in value around 20-30% in the coming years.

Just lol at all you fools getting Ponzi cucked by politicians and the fed. Distributing the value scooped off the top of your money to their buddies and calling it “stimulus.”

Just lol

Still a far cry from the late 2000s and early 2010s eh? CAD was trading above USD at those times, and it's still at $0.79 USD right now

Pretty sure a way to fix this is to adjust federal minimum wages to match the inflationary rate after this whole pandemic is over, prices adjust inflation adjusts, this has happened many times in history

This doesn't fix the problem and actually exacerbates it. You are adding cost to the widget.
You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

What are you comparing the USD to exactly? Inflation is still around 1.4%. I just wanna know where you're getting this information from so that I can formulate an opinion on the topic.

It's still 1.28 USD's for each 1 Cad. I'd say the US currency is still going strong.

Pretty sure it's people just believing the COVID stimulus etc is eroding the value of their currency, yet the entire world is doing the same thing so it seems like a mostly-moot point

Not a Forex trader or anything but it looks like the USD is strong against all the major currencies right now

The trade war with China was actually a currency war, which we lost the moment the media decided to prop up Beijing Biden.

only way for USA to not completely collapse is for the PEOPLE to get together and get rid of corrupt politicians

it's not big tech or big companies (other than oil) that is corrupt

The countries that I've visited the past couple years have recently seen the exhange rate shift in their favor anywhere from 10-15%. I remember when Thai baht was 36-1 and now it hovers around 30-1. Likewise Mexican peso was 26-1 and now sits at 20-1. Last January Philippine peso was 53-1 and now at 47-1. We poverty now.

the countries in asia are developing faster than the rest of the world in all aspects. i wouldn't be surprised if in 20 years the countries over there make the west look like total ****. it's not far-fetched at all

even vietnam, which was wrecked until 1975, is developing an incredibly fast rate. saigon looks beautiful

canada has barely any development in the past 20 years

One way that would fix it, that would also be very unpopular with people is to increase taxation, thereby decreasing the money supply in the economy.
