Mexico has been at war for 14 years...

Pretty crazy. The worst decision for the people of Mexico was the government declaring war on drug cartels. The best decision for government officals, and those in power in Mexico was declaring war on drug cartels. Mexico was a million times safer before the drug war. Drug Cartels were no where near as numerous, powerful or violent as now. If you step outside a resort in northern Mexico might as well be stepping into a warzone.

Mexico is like a GTA server the mobsters rolling around in Ferrari's, Tanks, with assault rifles, light machine guns, body armor, gold weapons, armored cars ect..

The war is not going to end anytime soon. Too much cash to be made

The Zetas are no where near as powerful as they were before. The Zetas were too violent, cruel and unfair. Los Zetas had a ton of success due to spreading fear, and being ruthless. Due to this they ended up being hated by everyone. Eventually everybody turned against them. A lot of people wonder why so many Mexicans like El Chapo. Well El Chapo was the Zetas #1 enemy. People hated the Zetas so much they were siding with El Chapo. El Chapos Sinaloa Cartel was fair unlike Los Zetas.

The cartels who have most success are those who are fair, and well liked by the people. Just look at CJNG cartel. They are well liked in Guadalajara because they try to not target people who arent involved. CJNG are now going after "Los Viagras" which is a cartel hated by Mexicans due to them preying on innocents.

The two strongest cartels in Mexico are the CJNG cartel(Jalisco cartel), and Sinaloa Cartel(El Chapos cartel).
CJNG are very well equipped they look like a militia

Most cartels wouldnt go to the USA unless for business. In Mexico they have lots of power that they couldnt have in the USA.

However the funny thing is that most illegals that come from Mexico to the USA are from broke ass southern Mexico. Which is the safer, but also poorer area. The idea that illegals are fleeing cartel violence is a lie. If that was the case most illegals would come from northern Mexico.

I used to follow the cartel war like 10 years ago, when I knew a guy that lived in Nueva Laredo.

Also, op doesn’t seem to know that central bankers and intelligence agencies basically defacto run and protect the cartels.

Wasn't Nieto also accused of receiving a huge amount of money from cartels too? ($100 million+)

Yup, El Chapo's right hand man testified to that in court. Supposedly Nieto wanted 250mil but settled on 100ml.

Los zetas split into two factions. The old school (vieja escuela) and cartel of the northeast.

The main war right now is between Sinaloa and Jalisco cartel. Sinaloa get help from the carteles unidos, which is made up of Viagras, familia Michoacana etc, if i remeber correctly.

ima be honest....his takes are pleb-tier. Literally the same stories they played on History Channel 15 years ago.

Ironically, his best podcasts are about the BLM/Antifa riots. He was apparently running some training class where people signed waivers to go train in actual riots zones. It was the show with Shawn Ryan:

Not only that, the drugs would be safer too. Made in an up to standards lab of a legitimate company rather than some guy's kitchen.

Nope.

If drugs were legalised, they’d have regulations etc attached which means associated costs for anyone dealing in them legally. Gangs and cartels will still deal in them because they’ve an advantage over anyone who does it legally. There’s cartel presence in the Humboldt County weed game for example.

It’s why there’s still arms and weapons dealers in places where such is legal. Same with cigarette smuggling. That’s a huge illegal industry even though cigarettes are legal everywhere.

Even if we make it so that the above isn’t the case, they’ll just move onto something else black market. It’s what gangs etc do and have always done the beginning of time.

You guys like your coffee, beer, cigarettes? Imagine if those were illegal. Lol. The war on drugs is pathetic and pointless. The amount of money that would come from taxing it alone is astronomical. Of course the cartels wouldn't just disappear, criminals will always exist, but don't make it so damn easy for them.
