Who is your favorite serial killer?

With the recent Night Stalker talk on the misc, I was wondering who your favorite is? By favorite I mean who you find the most interesting/fascinating, obviously they have all done heinous, disgusting things and I'm not trying to glorify or idolize them in any way. But it is interesting to read and learn about them and what made them the way they were.

This one is fascinating because he was never caught. Do you think someone will crack the case someday?

The exchange with the lawyer at the end basically confirms he never did anything. Plus, no cops were looking for him despite him supposedly rampaging through the city.

Sir Ted was in a class by himself. The two or three behaviouralists who interviewed him all agreed.

I think there's a lot of luck involved too. The Golden State Killer wasn't caught for a long time and he was dumb as **** apparently. One of his family members used Ancestry or 23 and Me or something and it hit as a partial match on DNA samples from the crime scenes because police had been running their samples against these databases. Pure luck he was caught, and pure luck he got away with it for so long.

Sorry, missed that. Just responded.

One thing that intrigues me about Bundy, is that with not knowing he was a serial killer, yes, he would have come across to me as charming, intelligent and attractive. It’s what sets him aside from a lot of other killers.

To me he was really creepy and I think I would have picked up on that, but obviously I wouldn't have found him attractive. It's funny how attraction can hide things from you that would otherwise be obvious. Bundy's little hurt bird ruse would have thrown up all kinds of red flags. But he was charming and charismatic, so women would ignore signs of danger.

The dude was legit in a league of his own, in so many ways. Not surprising he was a Democrat Party Precinct Captain rofl.
Yeah that case was ****ed up. Everything about him. The clown makeup, wtf.

Yeah I saw it, thought it was boring and anti-climactic. The doc they did was better, Ted Bundy Tapes I think it was called.

Towards the end of the movie when he entered Paul Allens apartment while the real estate agent was showing the apartment to potential buyers he saw that the apartment was redecorated and bodies were disposed. He had a very awkward interaction with the agent who promptly asked him to leave. Its obvious that the agency got rid of those bodies so they could sell the apartment. Also Patrick never was caught because the movie (which is based on the book) talks about the society and none existing repercussions in wealthy community. Some of the things were unreal like the feed a cat at the atm machine part but he did murder paul allen, hobos and those prostitutes.

He was a cop for a while. I'm guessing that would help him in knowing what to do, what to avoid, etc.
