I'm being overrun by mice (small, grey and very quick)

I can always hear them in the garage and in the attic spaces making noise...scratching and chewing on the walls, but last night I watched one of the little fukkers slither through a tiny gap in the weatherstripping of the door into the kitchen right as I was standing there.

I'm not scared of a mouse, but it was like an evil little shadow that was darting back and forth too fast for me to catch with a broom and at one point I thought it crawled up my leg.

The main problem I have is when I find a nest of baby mice I don't have the heart to smash them with a shovel, so I usually take them to my barn and let them live there.

Just like sloots, though, they always come back.

Put down traps using peanut butter as bait. I prefer the ones where they go inside the trap so you don't have mouse brains on your tile.

Then cut your grass very low (mice instinctively don't like running across low cut fields), clear any debris near your house and seal possible entries.

I had some sneak in during a renovation years back. Nightmare. Woke up to one standing on my nightstand unwrapping and eating a hersheys kiss chocolate srs.

I have used the cheap glue traps with great success. I had some of the bastards living in my wall during the rain. Put out a shoebox (shelter) with a hole in one end leading to a peanut butter glob on a glue trap. Caught 2 in one night muahaha

I have one in garage and one in shed. Rite before the first cold snap in fall I stick em out. I've got 13 in 2 days. They rush to get inside during first cold snap...haven't had one come into the house in 3 years cuzz those bucket traps slay em. Easy cleanup too...just pile em up and dump the bucket out. No touching them or nothing. Best investment ever. Keep one in our camp too and catch them all year round with no mess...no trap to reset. Fkn clutch man

Yep, I use -25 wiper fluid tho. Same but cheaper than antifreeze...lol

That works lol.

I do 50/50 water and plumbing antifreeze, the pink stuff. Plumbing antifreeze is like 5 bucks a jug, so 2.50 a trap. And an ice fishing scoop to scoop out floaters lol.

There's a mouse trap brah who posts tons of videos on traps.

Spend some time on that and get some ideas + entertained.

Peanut butter + snap trap works but if you have a real problem might want a few traps that can catch several.

There are no-kill traps on his channel as well but you better place them far away or they'll just return. Field mice don't range THAT far if I'm not mistaken.

You want to handle that because they poop like crazy and track their poop all over, breed like crazy, and they will chew electrical and steal your in-wall insulation for nesting.
