Thinking about buying one of those corner-shaped one person infrared saunas for the corner of our bedroom.

Used to have a sauna and a shower in the evenings and would always sleep like the gods after ded fkn srs.

There's a traditional sauna in our vacation unit that I love. Keeps hangovers at bay like nothing else. Has anyone who has used both infrared and traditional, what are the differences that you feel?

I used to go to the sauna after a gym session and it was the absolute GOAT. Workout > swim for a bit > sauna HNNGGG.

Since the lockdowns have cucked me, I've been taking a hot bath every now and then.

I started adding bath salts and bubbles, now I'm - wait I'm derailing the thread.

Yeah brah saunas are GOAT.

Too bad saunas are banned in this COVID world....

I used to love to hit the steam room, sauna or jacuzzi after a lift session but now that seams impossible.

The only way is for me to get super rich so I can afford my own private fully stocked gym with a sauna, hottub, jacuzzi, private strip club room and private theater....
Everything I post is satire.

Looked into a sauna for helping detox. For some reason I had high mercury levels and that was one of the best ways it seemed to get it out.

In individuals with higher exposure or body burden, sweat generally exceeded plasma or urine concentrations, and dermal could match or surpass urinary daily excretion. Arsenic dermal excretion was severalfold higher in arsenic-exposed individuals than in unexposed controls. Cadmium was more concentrated in sweat than in blood plasma. Sweat lead was associated with high-molecular-weight molecules, and in an interventional study, levels were higher with endurance compared with intensive exercise. Mercury levels normalized with repeated saunas in a case report. Sweating deserves consideration for toxic element detoxification.

Are infrared saunas as good as traditional ones?

Planning on building a sauna soon. Joe Rogan has convinced me.

From everything I've read on them. Yes, they're just as good.

Don't give up hope. Used ones pop up or you could build one from a kit for cheaper

I ain't paying to sit in someone else's "fluids"

We have a steam unit in our shower. 25 mins 3x per week after legs and HIIT. Heart rate stays in the 130s, test through the roof.
