What do you typically eat in a day? (Daily)

Do you cook all day, do you eat out, mix of both?

I made 4 eggs this morning, with a banana, and two slices of whole grain toast w/ orange juice

DoorDashed Teriyaki Boy for lunch, chicken, white rice, with onions and bell peppers

Going to my buddy’s later so will probably eat out again.

Usually try to make healthy food choices. But I def still need to try to cook more.

these days i eat a turkey sandwich, jar of oysters, lb of some kinda seafood and ramen

i was drinking beer from 5 to 10pm and wouldn't really eat anything but now i guess i will since i'm gonna stop

not even sure if switching from beer to food will result in a substantial enough caloric difference to be worth it lol

3-3:30 pm: 8 oz bone broth

Dinner during work week:

You prep the chicken every night? You cook it, or buy the pre cooked stuff from the grocery store?

These are constant and daily :

- 1 cup of oats cooked in 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of water, add 1 cup of blueberries, cinnamon and non pasteurized honey. Wash it all with a pint of mlik
- 4-5 eggs scrambled with about a pound of potatoes cooked breakfast style
- Vegetarian chili (about 1 cup of beans), with onions, mushrooms, peppers and a can of squished whole tomatoes. When I know I'm going to be really active I'll add minced turkey
- Sardine sandwich, 1 can and 2 slices of whole wheat bread with caramelized onions and tzatziki sauce. I'll have a side of spinach mixed with olive oil and raw garlic (I keep this one for the evening since it makes me stink like hell)

and the one meal that changes is my main course
rice/pasta/potatoes with chicken/meat/fish and a side of broccoli and kale

On days I eat big cheat meals, I'll just keep the oats and eat chicken with veggies all day.

I make the chili for the week, caramelized onions for the week, spinach, broccoli and kale for the week, potatoes for my eggs for the week

I make eggs, oats and sardine sandwich daily

I make the main meal (rotate recipes) twice for the week, once on Sunday and once on Thursday

How do you keep it from going bad? You freeze it? Usually whenever I cook chicken I can’t stand to eat left overs after a day or two.

Those cheapo cream of rice products probably use the lowest quality rice available, which will most likely have high levels of arsenic.

This isn't some hippy conspiracy theory either. Arsenic from rice and rice products is a real concern.

Stay safe.

A lot of vegetables also come with digestive issues and bloating.
Also the less food volume for me the better, I feel like more food volume = bigger waist.

I know a lot of people want to rag on supplements but my liver/kidney values and my heart health have all increase DRAMATICALLY when I went supplement based. BRB liver and kidney values 100% perfect and BP is 120/70 resting hr 45 on 1g OJ and weighing 260lbs

by eating it in 2-3 days :P 8lbs uncooked ends up being under 5lbs cookes and I eat a lot of chicken. I just refrigerate it and heat it up, maybe the shredding it makes it not taste different but it tastes the same to me fresh as heated up. Now fish and beef taste different, but for beef I just mash it up with a fork from a patty after I reheat it and mix it with rice. I dont like cooking it minced because it tasted dry and flavorless that way.

Can you aware me on this? Any brand you'd recommend or resources I can read? There are no words in the English language to express how much I'd love to get rid of veggies from my diet.

I normally eat like a pound of chicken a day, and then a bunch of vegetables. I split it into like 2 large meals to meet my calories. Normally drink water and diet soda if I need flavor.

On Sunday's I usually prep all the chicken and veggies in under an hour. I throw all of the chicken into the InstaPot, shred it all up, and then divvy into containers. I toss all the veggies with olive oil and salt, throw on a pan, and then roast them in the oven for like 30 minutes. Whole process takes like an hour, biggest waste of time is from waiting for the food to cool down long enough to toss it into the fridge.

When I reheat it up, I normally throw some sauce in the chicken and sprinkle some cheese over the veggies, eat that twice a day and it pretty much meets everything I need. It gets pretty easy when you do it over and over, and you realize food is fuel and not for enjoyment.

Amazing grass makes the best greens, I just get organic beet root powder for reds, and then orange triad for multi vitamin, I take individual vitamins for specific things like insulin control, liver/kidney/prostate, blood pressure, overall heart health, lipids.

I mean all vegetables really are is different micronutrients in different vegetables and quality fiber and water. Theres nothing more "special" about eating vegetables for a carbohydrate source than eating Salmon vs. Chicken as a protein source. Salmon is loaded with WAY more micro-nutrients than chicken but that doesnt mean you cant be healthy and fit eating chicken and not salmon.

Vegetables are good for people who need fiber, or need food volume to feel full, or are lacking in micronutrients in their diet/supplements, IMO. I dont see any specific need for "vegetables" from a dietetic standpoint.

Theres nothing more "special" about eating vegetables for a carbohydrate source than eating Salmon vs. Chicken as a protein source. Salmon is loaded with WAY more micro-nutrients than chicken but that doesnt mean you cant be healthy and fit eating chicken and not salmon.

Vegetables are good for people who need fiber, or need food volume to feel full, or are lacking in micronutrients in their diet/supplements,IMO. I dont see any specific need for "vegetables" from a dietetic standpoint.
If nutrients are met elsewhere, I agree.

Thanks man, I'll give it some research and try it out. Will monitor my bloodwork and if I remain healthy then I will never eat a vegetable again.

I cook 95% of the time since we've been on that covid time.

1) Granola + Almond Milk + frozen fruit

Run/Workout

2) 3 Egg Frittata w/ Spinach/Mushrooms + 5-6oz of Chicken Breast tossed in buffalo sauce, 2 small sweet potatoes

3) Buffalo Chicken Pasta, usually made w/ whole wheat rotini

4) 2 Salmon(Canned/In a packet) Salad sandwiches w/ Avocado/Onion/Small amt of cream and buffalo sauce

5) 2 thicc af PB&J Sandwiches

As you can see, I am in a buffalo phase. If i need to switch it up, I'll just switch up a sauce. I have a ton of backup stuff I can do if I get really sick of stuff.
