Are your 30s better than your 20s?

And if so why?
I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky. I never told anybody to lie, not a single time; never. These allegations are false. And I need to go back to work for the American people. Thank you.

Who's to say.

Some people "wasted" their twenties, and only in their thirties decide to get their lives on track fixing the career/finance/education/debt problems they've made for themselves over their years.

Perhaps for people like that, their "wasted" twenties was more like a decade long party with booze, drugs, girls, "bad" but fun financial decisions, etc. For others their "wasted" twenties might simply be a decade long rot session.

For me I'm 25, got a good paying job in a career related with the Bachelor's degree I graduated with, trying to stay fit, approaching 3 years in a relationship. Got some work/education related goals in my later twenties, so that hopefully in my thirties I don't need to do much else as far as education/certifications.

In for 30s+ miscers to give their insight...

Too lazy to type it all out but the confidence from the life experience you’ve accumulated + decent money + not letting yourself go physically should put you in top 20% of your age bracket easily

I’m turning 28 and I guess recently I’ve just been thinking about how I should have done a few things differently. I make good money and it seems like my career is on track, but don’t have my degree and that coupled with a few other things I guess reality is settling in now as I didn’t worry about it the past decade.

Yes.

Assets, and focus. Also I've found that as early 30's I can slay HBB's from 18-45 without a blink of an eye. TBH I kind of prefer the barbell ends of that spectrum. My current female diet is almost exclusively 22 and below hoodrats and 35+ gymmaxxing divorcees.

No hassle, only sex with both groups. Women 25-32ish are more interested in what they can take/leach off of me, without bringing anything the other two categories aren't already.

I just turn 29 and currently finding myself to have more confidence and real life experience. There is no wall for men as long as you workout and progressing to make more money. My 30's is going to be awesome with much younger woman and having more experience and money.

the only difference is that in my 30s, i made more money, had kids and prioritized my family instead of partying/drinking every weekend. dont get me wrong; i had a blast im my 20s but i grew up and would rather be with my wife and kids than hooking up with different chicks and not remembering what i did over the weekend

In my early 30's. Much better than my 20's which were a struggle in terms of finding myself... Only downside is that I'm less horny, but that actually keeps me out of trouble were in the past I'd think with my dick first. A whole lot smarter and wiser. You're a retard in your 20's but you don't realize it. Turned into a different person at 25, and 26, and 27... 28 is the nearest age I can look back and relate to myself but it all started at 25. 25 was the last year I was on a tear smashing sloots.

Financially, it's not even close. From borderline homeless to net worth in the millions. Borderline homeless was me completely disregarding family and help by trying to pull it off on my own 100%. Eye opening.

My 30s are better. But I spent my 20s working long hard hours and making smart financial decisions. Now my 30s are basically easy mode.

-Better physique.
-More stable life-style.
-More over-all freedom.
-More confident in myself.
-Set financially.
-Have achieved all of my short term goals.
Etc.

I'd imagine if you make the wrong decisions in your 20s your 30s can be hell.

30s are pretty fuking boring tbh

in my early 20s i had a large social circle of guys and hot sloots, i honestly think that is the most important part of living a fulfilling enjoyable life

now i'm more of a loner, partly because of circumstances, partly by choice

if you don't want marriage and kids there isn't much of an alternative in your 30s, there's not really anything

but when i look at the average married couple, i think fuk that looks horrible

Interesting you sort of filter the in-betweeners because you know they likely have different priorities than you (read: settling down).

Mid 20s brah shaping up to keep kicking ass and taking names in my 30s. Should be making a multiple of what I make now which should easily set me up to retire after another decade. Just gotta remember to stop and enjoy/celebrate these next few years.

Moving to NY in soon pretty excited to see that as a positive step toward the direction I want my life headed.

ill be 30 in july and i find myself wondering the same thing. i own a house, am in very good physical condition (training for 13 years now,) have a career that fills me with purpose related to my degree, and live within my means. but then again, I am caught wondering what to do next at times. i've accomplished every goal i've set, large and small. and now what? i dont want a family or wife, so now do i just chill with extra money and do whatever i want? my 20s was amazing and i cant imagine having more fun in my 30s but at the same time, my 20s was half working 60+ hour weeks and doing my hobbies in my free time. it's gunna be awesome, i think, but i just dont know what direction to go anymore. feel good about it tho.

Much better, and it's not even close. To be fair, I was pretty miserable in my 20s and had to deal with a lot of family and financial problems (the two went together).

Got laid a lot more in my 30s, and now I'm happily married. Much more financially stable. Some of it is mental and emotional maturity as well. You don't have any of that young man angst anymore when you're older.

It should be. You should have all the partying out of your system, be financially stable, with a well established career path.

By about mid 30s you'll start to not give a fuk about everything...2 years into my 40s that feeling has really intensified.

Also, if you've stayed consistent with working out you'll have a much, MUCH better physique than 95% of 30 YO peers.

Youth is wasted on the young.

It's a privilege to reach an older age.

It may feel like crap but as someone who has outlived his mom by about 9 months so far I'm just happy to be alive.

Brahs, this is the way.

And I actually am in a position where I wouldn't mind beginning a relationship with a girl 24-26 ideally that is lifemaxxing. I can go lower for exceptional cases ex. 1. messed around with a smoking 23 year old med student pre-covid, but she was untamable, srs.2. Had a fling in October with an NBA wife-looking 30 year old that had her masters and in the 6 figure category and similar career field, data science, but she moved.

Both were wifey material.

The problem isn't that I'm against settling down, it's that if I'm settling down, ideally it's with someone that is as referenced in the mid 20's group. They have their youth and by 24-26 a girl should have a very clear life path and figured out who the fuk they are. They also aren't scraps. If you're still single when you hit 32 you'll know exactly what I'm talking about.

I still messed around and even semi-dated girls in the 28-34 age group when I was in my late 20's, however something changed when I turned about 31. With increasing frequency I wasn't encountering girls that just wanted to fuk and have fun and see what happens, girls were curiously interested in my car, how much condos in my complex were selling for, how much my gym made, etc. They were dating with intent. I'm not about that. You're also dealing with the leftovers, girls that are physically attractive (the hotter the more dangerous), intelligent, but complete fukking lunatics with fatal flaws.

Also, where I live teenage pregnancy is srs and there are a ton of single moms, usually when their kid is about 7 so they're entering late 20's/early 30's they're beginning to realize they're gutter buckets and they need to go full press on guys to lock them down or just settle for the occasional dick down servicing. These women are good for banging once and then block deleting their number, but never dating.

Literally the thing I could have just opened every tinder/bumble etc. conversation with that would have been an automatic slay is "I have a 2019 BMW M5, I own a downtown condo in X neighborhood, I own the gym off such and such street, I own X amount of rental properties, and if we go on one date with me I'll commit to at least 5 more dates with you in which the dinner tab will be over $200 on each occurrence" and gotten laid within the next hour every time, srs.

If you:

• Kept lifting hard and are in shape or better shape.

• Invested/saved money and have a solid savings.

• Invested your money and are now seeing interest compound.

• Went to college, got solid degrees, and are seeing your career compound in growth and earnings...

Fuk yea 30's are a great time. They are a 10/10 barometer of your character and work ethic up to that point. 30's were by far the best decade of my life SRS

Only 32 but these 2.5 years have been some of the best. More money, less problems, more girls, more freedom, better at life and priorities.

Sure, I'd give it up to go back to being 20, where the girls you meet are a little tighter, hangovers don't hit as hard, etc, but your mindset truly changes as you get older which makes life better. Of course you don't have as much innocent adventure type fun, but it's out there if you want it. Just don't become a hermit or content.

30s have been worse despite being in better shape and making more money.

Literally have 0 social circle now. A lot of people I knew now have families or got married.

At best I get together with people for a fun vacation every 4 or 5 months. The time between is dreadful, waiting around for the next fun moment.

Literally the monotony has started getting to me too so I’ve started to lose motivation working out.

Why even bother maximizing physique? Absolutely no one cares.

My diet has basically been me yo-yo’ing for the last year plus where I’ll tighten up after a couple good weeks staying on track then blowing it all up saying f*ck it. Then repeat.

Every day get up go to work go to gym go to sleep is so depressing though. And what’s the end game?

In your 20s you have hope still. At least that’s what I think the difference is. You still believe you’re gonna make it big, like really big and be important in the world. In your 30s reality sets in and you realize you’re not gonna do sh*t in this world and you’re basically filling time until death

"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."
