Are you ok? Mate the game is an unfinished mess and didn't achieve or include half of what they marketed, you have to be blind to not see that. I beat the game on a RTX 3080, 3900x, 32gb 3600mhz ram... Good reference below, if this isn't worth having issue with, then you have zero standards.

Yeah man, don't get me wrong. The game can look amazing in some areas, I'm playing with an RTX3080 on an ultrawide. My issue is the technical/gameplay state of the game aside from the veneer of what can sometimes be a beautiful, visual treat.

If you can get past the game breaking around you, it probably isn't that big of a deal. I had my moments where it really was hitting the mark of what I wanted, cruising around at night, with the rain, etc. was amazing for example. Until you see the cars and npc's morphing all around you when you spin the camera, just killed it for me once I started paying more attention.

Been looking at 4k monitors that don't cost an arm and a leg, any one have the ASUS TUF Gaming VG289Q 28” HDR Gaming Monitor 4K (3840 x 2160) or any recommendations $500 or lower? These things ain't cheap.

Seems like a very good monitor for the price, from Tom's Hardware: "As mentioned, Nvidia hasn’t certified the Asus TUF Gaming VG289Q, but we were able to run G-Sync on it" so it looks like it supports Gsync and Freesync, so you're safe with either an AMD or Nvidia GPU.

Personal preference but I'm used to 100hz+ so I'd be targeting 1440p, 100hz+, 1ms for that price. If you are set on 4k though, the one you posted looks really good.

Just downloaded my first mod so far, "Ultra Enhanced Reshade" (Performance Friendly).. I think it's the one Destor has I'm guessing. Game looks sooo much better. Darker but in a good way.

Yeah I was thinking of maybe getting a 1440p instead, or just sticking with what I have now which is a 1080p 144hz ASUS 248QE. Not sure how much of a difference it would make from 1080 to 1440.

So I have double jump and mantis blades and pumping all my stats into reflex and body. Is anything else even worth it? Because I went from feeling piss weak to op after getting enough to get those two things. Maybe the time slow OS?

Also get the Maneuvering System implant from the Rancho Coronado ripperdoc if you haven't already.

Hmmmm you think so? This is the reshader and settings



My performance seems mostly in line with what I've seen online while running a 3090, getting about 40 fps with everything incl. RT cranked and Quality DLSS. Switch it to native 4k and it's more like low 20s, but it was dipping below 20 in that area at night. GPU is running at 65-70 degrees and CPU at ~70

Ok, I think I misread it before. I usually use Auto. None of those Reshade settings should hit your FPS much.

Too bad the game doesn't support SLI... I'd love to play it in Native 4k or even 5k without DLSS.

Yeah, kinda feel ripped paying full price and seeing it at 35$ especially since I put it down after a mere 8hrs until they fix it up a little. Gonna wait until the "next-gen" patch but the game will probably be free at that point lol.
