I kind of support this because renewable energy is the future anyway. The problem is the job losses of oil and gas workers. The jobs in renewable energy that will spring up wont be where the oil and gas people who lost their jobs are. Biden is just going to enact job stifling regulations like obama did. LMAO at electing the guy who is obviously senile and slipping into dementia, the guy whose own boss didnt endorse him until he HAD to

youd think oil andd gas stocks will fall, so you avoid them, inexplicably the stocks go up like crazy against everyone's expectations, you decide to buy some, then eventually good oil news comes out and stock prices plummet.

Not gonna lie, we had a large contract supplying part of that. Long term O&G is going to go up and will offset the short term loss. My job is safe, but fairly certain some buds are going to get chopped.

This really isn’t major news. The pipeline even had trouble under Trump. It kept getting hung up in state court even after Trump approved it in 2016.

People were always going to fight it regardless and it was always on thin ice.

It mostly hurts Canada more than the US economically.



This isn’t really shocking news though. Doubt it even impacts stocks very much for those wondering.

This. Brb using more fossil fuels and emitting more carbon in to the atmosphere from trucking the oil in instead of a clean safe pipeline.
