Volunteered at a food bank once to fill in for a buddy while he was sick, and they were giving out chit loads of donuts and pastries. People were getting chitloads of leftover donuts. Like shopping bags full.
Your best bet would be to work at a buffet. They toss everything at closing time. Also slower paced than McDonald's which would give you a better chance to sneak off with some food.
