lol strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical process. It was deemed safe for adults after the adult trials....

You do realize there have to be trials for kids before they can make conclusions on how it affects kids....right?

Actually i do and even the fast track process takes longer in vaccine approval, smart ass

And it was never deemed safe for all people, there are warnings for young people, people with allergies, people above 80 (after 30 died in norway after vaccination), pregnant women

Kids are the worst spreaders because they are almost always asymptomatic. So if you could reduce the severity of them having it or the communicability it would go a long way for society. Plus then schools reopen and bring society much more back to normal.

It sucks having kids out of school.

"Even after you have had both doses of the vaccine you may still give Covid-19 to someone else and the chains of transmission will then continue," Prof Van-Tam said.

Just two more doses bro!

So far a whooping 58 people aged 5-14 have died from covid in the past year, and I’m assuming they probably had other significant health issues. Yes, having kids and teens die is horribly sad, but I don’t think injecting millions of kids and teenagers with a vaccine is a reasonable response to that number. This is especially true since it seems younger people are more likely to have adverse reactions(or at least that is the most recent info I’ve heard about the vaccine, feel free to correct if that isn’t the case).

Lol and I'm the smart ass? No duh it's not safe for all people, obviously if you're fuking allergic to vaccines you shouldn't get the vaccine, but thanks for pointing that out. But what's the point of this thread? That you disagree the vaccine should ever be tested on kids?

Did anyone say never to test on kids?

Children have by far the lowest mortality rates from covid, so there is no need to rush a vaccine for them. Not taking some time to see how it affects adults before starting injecting children is braindead at best

Even Fauci says kids aren't super spreaders, which the data shows and the schools should be open. Unfortunately, the party of science has taken a back seat to the teachers unions.

More kids died of the flu in 2019 then covid in 2020.

Any rebuttals?
Dr. Fauci: "The default position should be to try as best as possible within reason to keep the children in school or to get them back to school [...] if you look at the data the spread among children and from children is not really big at all"

Ok so how long do YOU think they should wait until starting the children's trials? 5 years? 10 years? What's the correct timeframe? The Pfizer phase 3 trial started on July 27 so they have 6 months of data right now. As the article states, they are taking the time they deem necessary and I trust actual immunologists much more than some random person on a bodybuilding website:

Typically vaccine trials proceed into younger age groups after they're proven safe and effective in older groups, and the manufacturers of Covid-19 vaccines have indicated they'll follow that plan here as well.

Moderna's chief executive, Stephane Bancel, said this month it's unlikely the company would have data in kids age 11 and younger, which would involve a lower dose, before next year. He said he expects data for kids 12 and up may be available before September.

„ Others are specific to diseases that uniquely or especially impact the lives of children, such as those that prevent disease—like vaccines—or are related to genetic conditions.“

This is from Pfizers official website

There is no need in testing it on kids since they are not at risk

Inb4 but transmission bla bla

Transmission after vaccine is still possible

Trump says vaccine will be ready by end of year = “omg how fukking stupid can he be?! These things take years at LEAST and that’s if everything goes right with no issues along the way during trials. Typical Drumph and his lack of science smh”.

Vaccines start rolling out months later after Biden is nominated = “omg stfu and take your shot so we can protect everyone. Typical idiots with their lack of science smh”.
