Some people, just can't get it together, can't handle themselves. If you are kind of dumb, it really doesn't bother you, you just take it how it is and roll with it. Intelligent people like this have a very hard time with it because they can't get it together.
When you are in school there is a direction, a path, set in front of you from the start. Complete this task, move to the next. You do what you are told to do, when you are told to do it, the way you are told to do it, and you receive credit, and move to the next phase. It's a structured environment. It's the same reason so many people who are repeat offenders who get thrown back in jail/prison every time they get out yet get early release because they are role model prisoners in the inside. Yeah, they do great in there but when you put them on the outside where they are left to their own choices they fall apart. Almost every liberal I have ever met seems to believe that we need structure (well they do anywhays) so it's why they are so for regulations and government oversight.
