California is actually number 37 in deaths per million from Covid by state.
Guess 5 of the top 10 states by death rate though?
Mississippi, South Dakota, North Dakota, Louisiana, and Arizona,

As to your second point, it’s now been almost 4 weeks since New Year's. Despite every expert promising a "surge upon a surge" in Covid from holiday travel, the Midwest continues to trend down with some of the lowest numbers seen in months - regardless of the restrictions each state had in place. Cases in the Midwest decreased 50% between Thanksgiving and Christmas. As of 1/18 cases are down 64% from their peak in mid-Nov. Some of the largest decreases are in the states that have been the least restrictive (SD, IA, NE). Wonder why they don't talk about the Midwest anymore...?

Millions of people from California went all over the US for Thanksgiving and Christmas and brought Covid back to California.

COVID is at 1.9 million.
There’s your “surplus” deaths..not counting the fact that every 1% unemployment is raised nearly 30,000 deaths occur.
the more masks are mandated throughout the United States, the greater the evidence grows that the mandates do little to nothing, which builds the argument that the overconfidence in masks' efficacy may be more damaging than whatever damage they mitigate.
Don’t even get me started on lockdowns. Over the last 5 years, the largest year-over-year increase in deaths at home for people ages 15-44 was around 4,500.
2020? 13,000, and the data isn’t even complete yet. Around 1,000 are attributed to COVID.
You don’t care about lives, you just care about pushing an agenda

I don't have much faith in the people out here in Cali rightfully getting pissed off and rejecting morons like the Gov. I've signed the recall petition and will also sign to recall Gascon (can't believe people elected this lunatic in place of a black woman - what happened to the wokeness?).
Most folks here aren't looking at data anyway and didn't blink an eye when the Gov and his people said they're withholding metrics from us, which help decide their decision-making. And now people will be told what to think again by the media about why we're good to open...nevermind all the 'surge after surge' we were expecting after Christmas and New Year, ICU capacities like LA County still being 0%, 'new strain(s)', etc.

I've been saying ever since all of the fearmongering began last March that this was all political theater over a virus with a 99.xx% survival rate among anybody with a functioning immune system to get Trump out of office. I'm not sure how anybody with two brain cells to rub together could disagree at this point. What is a little surprising though is how quickly some of these evil liberal ph****s are opening things up now that dementia Joe is in there. They're not even trying to hide it at this point. It is truly despicable how many lives they have ruined over this farce simply to gain political power.

Newsom reopens California, with most counties going to ‘purple’ tier. Here’s what it means.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sfc...s-15896015.php
Gov. Gavin Newsom abruptly lifted mandatory stay-home orders across California on Monday as the surge of coronavirus cases that followed the holiday season began to recede. The move allows activities like outdoor dining at restaurants and personal-service businesses such as hair salons to reopen for the first time in more than a month.

Pasadena restaurants to reopen immediately for outdoor dining.
Meanwhile, LA County (with 0% ICU capacity still, which they told us before we needed to be minimum 15% to not be locked down), 'high death rate'...
-Outdoor-only private gatherings limited to three households and a total of 15 people
-Fitness facilities can open outdoors
-Indoor malls, shopping centers and other retailers can open at 25% indoor capacity (but food courts must stay closed)
-Family entertainment centers can reopen for outdoor operations at 50% capacity
-Museums, zoos, aquariums can open for outdoor operations
-Cardrooms can open at 50% capacity outdoors only
-Mini-golf, go-karting venues and batting cages can open outdoors at 50% capacity
-Outdoor recreational activity
-Hotels and motels
-Faith based services can be held outdoors only

Are you autistic or something? Why would I make that up? Two specific restaurants that don’t have any kind of national reputation?

plan was to kill the economy under Trump, then revive it under Biden, to make Biden's administration to look like the greatest stronghold ever.
