One show meant for adults as a humorous situation isn’t comparable to homo chit on Netflix breh.

No way can you chit on NFL if you watch Netflix which is objectively 1000x worse.

I have a wife and kids. Yes I pay attention to what my 3 year old is watching.

Wife likes to watch the new stuff. I mostly watch trailer park boys and stupid chit like that.

The degenerate chit is laughably forced and impossible not to notice.

Appreciate your concerns though.

It's what I recall from something I read on the matter several years ago - it was a contested criminal matter where the shooter was on charges pertaining to his use of a firearm in self defense. His criminal defense attorney was successful from what I recall. The guy's criminal defense attorney then needed to return to court to get the police department to return the firearm because the police department had given the guy the run around a few times. I can only presume it was in a state such as California, New York, Illinois, etc. but again, this is something that I read several years ago.
If the MISCr received his gun back undamaged without issue in a short amount of time then good for him - I'm happy to hear it.
I do think the facts of the situation have an impact on this. If you shoot someone who has undeniably entered your home unlawfully then I doubt it is as much of an issue compared to a situation where the state or the person who was shot argue that the shooting was unjustified.

TFW living in a free state with horrendous firearm self defense laws.

From what I understand in this state you have to prove that you couldn't flee or hide (lol) and needed to use deadly force in a home invasion. And this is in a constitutional carry state.

Don’t talk to the cops without a lawyer no matter what state you are in. They will try to nail you if you trip up on your words at all.

Just say you feared for your life and defended yourself and would like to speak to a lawyer before commenting further.

I've been told that you need to specifically tell the cops that you are invoking your right to remain silent and that you need to speak with your attorney - nothing more than this. You will need to repeat this to several different officers and the police are free to try and goad you into saying something.

IMO everybody who actually carries should probably have USCCA, CCW Safe, or the TX one if living there. Also consider ACLDN though they are not the same in terms of up front costs, they are less expensive and have legit AF experts. Benefit of CCW Safe over USCCA is primarily no cap on expenses
