Do young boys still play "punch buggy, no punch backs?"

Or are boys today too sensitive and soy for this? Just had flashbacks of how we used to punch each other as kids, and get yelled at in school for playing it lol. Now it would probably lead to suspension and declared as "bullying," even though both boys are playing.

Trying to get my son to do this. Think he needs to hear that kind of thing from another kid for it to catch. Recently tried to get him into doing the arm pump thing when passing big rigs but we haven't been on a freeway long enough for the habit to stick.

Anyone else used to fight with their friends as kids a lot. In the 80s 90s... In the neighborhood I guess we'd get bored and end up fighting each other. Talking like 9yo/10yo ish. Felt like this happened all the time but we'd end up friends 2 days later again.

Yeah OP I remember games like that. That's how these fights would start too lol.

When you farted or burped you had to say "siffted" and if you didn't and someone called doorknob you'd get your ass beat until you touched a doorknob (car doors counted)

We started a backyard wrestling club after school at my house. My mom shut us down, once kids started dying across the country from accidents. But yes, used to fight all the time for such dumb stuff and still be best friends. Just part of being a boy, something society is forgetting about.

yeah me and my brother/cousins used to do this lol

everytime we see a buggy or a yellow car we'd punch each other



also in school we used to do birthday beats, whenever it was somebody's birthday, that person would receive their age in punches on the shoulder per person. Fuark that chit hurt and the bruising would be there for a few days. This one teacher kept a calendar of everyone's birthday and would announce it to the whole class and we were all like fukkkk now everybody knows. Good times though.

after school we did snowball fights and free-for-all wrestling lol, basically everybody trying to take down each other. we had this one midget brah who was strong as chit tho, literally took 3 of us to take down lol. This was in Grade 7. Would also do WWE moves as well. Power bombed this one tiny asian dude and kinda fuked him up bad because under all the snow was some ice. felt bad brahs.

In school down in S FL we had punch a cracker day (was like 25% white) and also punch a Haitian day. I never got hit though luckily lol

We had the read the bookWringerin elementary school, and the kids in the book would receive "The Treatment" on their birthday, which was the same thing.

That turned into the new game for us and everyone dreaded their birthday afterward.
