Been selling solar for years
Offered job with #1 solar company in country
Moving to Dallas texas next week for it
It’s door to door
Average sale is 9.3k
I’ll be closing on avg 5 a week
Is a new upcoming market
Any miscers up for the challenge

Nope. In my state average sale 3-4k. Systems are much bigger. I’ve been in the industry for years. Even own a solar dealer. got connected with this after a job offer through vivint.

Solar is the best paid sales job that no one knows about

D2D solar sales is a gimmick/scam.

I live in Hawaii, and these kids fly over here all the time trying to sell solar. Let's put it this way, they all fly back to the mainland with no sales, srs lol

Yeah If you suck sure. I’ve been making six figures fir years selling solar. If you can sell you can make money. If you suck then that’s on you. Imo if you can’t do d2d then you can never do sales

Also so many pros make 7 digures in d2d doinf alarms or solar. Solar is the big money though.

Had a co worker who did wel at my job do it, showed me 4500 check he made, quit 2 months later cause went from dallas to houston to austin nocking on peoples doors and when asked why he left he gave me this traumatized face saying “fuuuuuuck that dude it ain’t worth it” and he stuck it in a pyramid scheme job doing tele sales for a year getting paid dog **** for first 9 months.

He's right. I personally know a few of these solar salesmen. They were all flown here, and like living here so they ended up quitting solar and getting restaurant jobs, srs.

Solar sales were good 5 years ago. Just like BTC.

Jasticus just going through some major FOMO. Look for something new, srs

There’s so many chit d2d companies. If you go with a good one and have a good team it can be a good experience. This one company I worked at 3 years ago had a big setter program. Setters set appointments for solar. They paid super well avg sale was $800 for just appointment setting plus $15/h. Even with that turn over was high af. D2d isn’t fir everyone. If you can do good you’ll kill it. I’m always top percentile in this industry so I plan on sticking this out for the next 5-10 years specially as liberals push solar onto everyone.

I’m just ready to move out of the state and the power company last October passed a chit bill that ruined solar and hurt it. I’m lucky I got this opportunity tbh. And just lol at solar good 5 years ago. Same chit noncoiners say. Keep being a wagecel

Comission.

Average sale is a 11kw system priced at $4 a watt so the system on avg is 44k. They finance it through partners and zero cost upfront for them and essentially replaces their power bill with a cheaper solar one. If you sell it for $4 a watt you make $850 a watt so times 850 by 11 times 1000. If you price it higher than the avg you’ll make more. I’ll probably be selling it $3-$4 a watt on avg.
