Crazy volume comes with crazy volatility right, so things popping off = increased burden on the broker's systems

They would need to operate their brokerage like any other business and would build it out to handle an amount of activity probably based on historical averages or whatever. They won't build a system with capacity for events like this and operate it at higher cost for 365 days a year when this type of stuff should happen very rarely

I still have no luck logging into questrade. I’m not tripping cuz I’m holding PLTR but fuk I would be absolutely livid if I was losing money and I couldn’t log in. Absolute bullchit.

Questrade super laggy and my order on AMC wouldnt fill before the halt even tho the price was showing as $1 below my limit order with live data.

Its crazy how badly they fuked the options on AMC I'd be livid if I was holding some of those. I was watching the 5 weekly's trade in the $4 range and slowly working its way up to 5 while the stock was like $15. It looked like trades were actually going through at those prices too since the volume seemed to be moving. I was tempted to throw in a big order it seemed like free money if they were going through

I can't figure out why AMD is selling off.

They had great earnings.

Beat on both ends.


Also AMD got price upgrades this morning.


$120 from $115 Barclays
$101 from $96 Truist
$105 from $102 MIzuho
$115 from $95 Loop Capital



I am trying to login to buy leaps on AMD they are cheap now.
