I don't believe anyone here trades for a living. We haven't had a purely professional trader here. The closest was some fat guy a few years ago with the username "JackedGuy" something or another who had a few well timed plays on canadian silver mines (luck, skill, who knows?) he quit his job with MAYBE $200k capital and claimed he would keep checking in with all his gains. Guy was a complete moron and likely blew up and back working at a gas station.

Ideally the goal shouldn't be to get to the point where you can make money off day trading if there is such a thing, it's to get enough capital to the point that your passive income exceeds your primary income for enough of a period of time that the combined retained earnings saved and interest compound to the point where keeping a 9-5 no longer makes sense and energy can be better focused researching real estate investments, managing businesses, looking at private equity opportunities, etc.

Getting there mayne.

That’s what I figured I’m not a “day trader”, don’t use leverage/options or anything and typically hold my positions for at least a few months but I feel like I got the right personality for it. Analytical, deliberative, learner and competition are my top 4 personality traits (my job paid to have me tested) and I basically have no emotions. I’m an accountant so I can read financial statements and completely understand them and Ive seen the portfolios/transactions of hundreds of wealthy individuals. I really only started “trading” in January of 2020 and I turned a $10k account into $160k so far. Everyone looks like a genius in a bull market I guess, I’ll probably just wage cuck it at the firm and just build my portfolio on the side.

his post from today showed he sold 300 calls today.

probably can't unload them all at once.

I am sure he will wind down all those calls by Friday.

I bought a big bag of RIOT back in April. Also big in CLSK and SPWR. Also big in bitcoin. For most stocks I just trade companies that are in ARK funds. I just research them all and pick winners. So yes I had Tesla pre split also.

I have traded for a living for 20 years. Up $7.5 M since last March. Normally make mid 6 figures to low 7 figures per year.
