Never have I used nor have I known anyone who uses thug as a way to describe black criminals. Absolutely ridiculous that it is now considered a racial slur.

Though I do think OP was race baiting, seems like it's his M.O. from a couple of the threads I've seen him start.

this post is exactly why it was good on Jay for using that word, srs. it has become synonymous with black because of constant media headlines using it exclusively for blacks. if that word is used more often for all criminals then eventually people will subconsciously stop associating it with just blacks, which is good. a thug is meant to be just that, a thug.

I don't doubt OP is baiting. What I meant was more that I still use thug to this day to describe actual thugs, regardless of the race. I used it the other day to describe a group of pinoy dipchits in my neighborhood. So I was surprised to read your post (what you linked).

I wasn't aware thug is now considered a racial slur, pretty retarded if that's the case.
