Sadly we were on a tight schedule so couldn’t entertain it but he was fascinating. He even told us where there was a beheading stone in the local park a few blocks away. Def checked that out. Was awesome. Divots out of the stone from the axe strikes from centuries ago. Fooking epic. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Oh also was awesome to learn the history of Scotland. Legit fighting for freedom from British ruling the entire time. They just wanted to be left the hell alone. Lots of similarities between Scotland and the origins of the USA. I never looked into it when I got home but the local guy mentioned that one of the Scottish soldiers who fought for their freedom got captured but escaped and fled to the USA continuing his fight for freedom and ended up signing the Declaration of Independence.

Cliffs - Scotland is awesome.

ok so i know this is a retarded question, but im from commieland so you guys are like my firearm dads (srs).

what else do i need to attach the sling to my QD swivels? am i missing a piece, or do i just need to find a way to loop it through so it's secure?

You need to go around the QD swivel first and then rig it up through the clip. Not going to work the way you have it.

Then do it like this on the plastic clip. Feed the sling underneath through the back, come up over the center part in the front, down through the back on the other side, and then loop it back over and through on the far side to make it extra secure.

Yea this is a good pic. I like to pull more through the plastic clip and then loop it over and go back through towards the QD point because it’s just more secure but if it’s a thick sling that may not work.

this is correct -except i would leave like 2 fingers width slack if its a vickers BFG one so it doesnt pop out but you get max adjustability. nice aimpoint lil bugger.
