The atomizer seems to be acting wonky too. Seems to just spray like a fire hose now vice a nice heavy atomized spray.

Maybe my atomizer is aging and developing like the scent.

I've been spraying on clothes to try your technique out and came up with a cool idea today.

Even from a direct spray, there's a bunch of juice that's dispersed in the air. Today I put on my clothes first, went under my shirt and did one spray of Sauvage on each pec. Not only did it prevent me from sneezing as sometimes the pepper note does that to me, but I felt like all the scent got trapped under there rather than dispersing.

So I got scent on my body and on the clothes and it's all there.

Performance has been great. And feels like it's been kicking off harder because the molecules aren't exposed to the outside air.

Will try it for the rest of the week with other scents because it's a little unfair to use Sauvage to test this.
Stole this idea for today. See how it improves performance

Sotd: 3 sprays of CH Men using the Coalmaxxing technique. After shower, put on clothes, grab frag, go under shirt and spray 1 per shoulder and one middle chest. The scent didn't pop off me in the beginning as it's further from my nose but I'm getting a very consistent bubble around me. I know this frag like the back of my hand yet I'm surprised how much of the pepper notes I'm picking up.

The Coalmaxxing technique may even give you a different twist to your experience.

Scent of the Day: Chanel - Eau de Cologne



New full bottle pickup. Redundant having this and Paris - Venise but i like them both. Will likely sell PV so i have visual consistency with the les exclusifs bottles and the PV comes in the larger flask looking bottle. Shared this already but just reiterating that Eau de Cologne is a nice "nothing" smell good scent like Prada L'homme, Aventus Cologne, Aqua Universalis etc. A good warm weather scent if you want a break from the typical aquatic smells.

Do you guys spray any scents on your bedding/linen? Ive gotten in the habit of doing 1 or 2 shots on my pillow, was wondering if I was the only one.

I feel like it's helping to preserve the longevity. Still testing though.

I have some candles, but nothing that great. I had an essential oil diffuser that I was using. Id spray some into some water and then have the scent lightly diffused in my room. That worked almost as well as the wax melter things, but my sister stole it the last time she visited.

I've experimented with this, but only with those "nothing" scents i was mentioning above. I did it with Byredo's - "Rose of No Man's Land" which is a light rose with some spice. Didn't spray directly on pillows but the two corners of the bed, UNDER the pillows. Worked pretty nice, but I would still default to a nice candle personally.

Are you doing the same fragrance or a bunnch of different frags each night. I dont as it will probably end up annoying me as all the frags will mix after a while. I wear frags to bed and can occassionally get traces on my sheets before i wash them.

The same fragrance. I usually use something a tad more feminine that I’ll have a sample of from a store. Something fresh and clean. Something I don’t really wear often. I let it linger. I don’t like spray my stuff every night lol. Just gives the room a nice vibe.

Not sure if suffering from stroke. Godolphin is a leather bomb that people often compare to Tuscan Leather. Which means if I smell it, all I would smell is a shoe repair shop. Saudi is a slightly skanky citrus, banana and fruits with woods. I don't see anything remotely close.

Sounds like a mislabel. Godolphin is a leather forward scent, check fragrantica.

I think ive tried a couple from Imaginary Authors. Only one i remember is Mint Julep. It was a minty frag with hints of BR 540 from what i recall. Decent, but nothing i wanted to wear all the time.

SOTD :YSL - La Nuit EDP

I think Im the first from this crew to finally get their nose on it? Unless the search button is broke. This came out last year and kind of got overlooked it seems.

Super, super nice. Very warm and seductive, reminds me more of the vintage CH Men than the original La Nuit. A bit sweeter than the original, more candy'ish. There are so many fragranceslike this(Le Male Parfum, CH Men, A*Men Ultimate, etc) it will probably get lost in the shuffle of warm, rich, cold weather "date night" frags but I think it smells wonderful.

Performance from 3 sprays from the decant seems pretty good, but it's only been 45 minutes.
