Ordering delivery

is it mean to order delivery when there's a snow storm? its just a few inches but the roads haven't been plowed. i tipped him $9 tho.

still waiting..

for anyone that wants to know i got wingstop; 25 Boneless pack w/Lg fry. Lousinana rub, hot, and BBQ.

$9 is too much, especially considering they probably charged a $5 delivery fee.

I've noticed that pizza places around me are raising delivery prices due to UberEats/Doordash being so much money. I paid a $5 delivery fee yesterday for pizza that I have never seen before from thus particular place.

How do people drive on snow covered roads if its fresh show and you dont know where the road actually is? srs question, I've only driven in show a couple times and it was on highways that were clear

The first few people driving through kind of make the lane. Over time it’ll get packed down where a lot of traffic passes then overnight the snow plows usually come in and push everything off the road.

What if you are that first person on the road? You just guess where the road or lanes are? Sorry, I lived in FL the last 20 years so idk. Only driven in snow a few times when visiting family in Illinois and didn't have the problem since the highways and stuff were cleared when I went through

Yeah, kind of. You get an idea for where you should be based on landmarks that are still visible under the snow and make due. Not uncommon for a new lane to be a few feet off from where it would be when the road is dry. I grew up in Alaska, learned to drive on a RWD 5 speed car in January. In a hot weather state rn w minimal snow and want to go home. Snow isn’t so bad to drive in once you get used to it.

The middle lines usually have the ridges/bumps in them that you can feel out if it's really bad. Highways usually have them along the shoulders.

Might help with light snowfall. Anything more than a few inches and you won’t feel the bumps. Most side streets don’t have bumps in the middle either. At least not where I’m from.
