Went on a date with a girl with herpes

Met up with girl. Was talking and saw she got a small cold sore on her lip. Kinda spooked so I ended the date.

Wat do boyos. She said she had a great time and would like to meet up again. Is that chit transmittable

what is extremely common.. the prevalence or transmission?

the transmission is not. BUT if you see a sore like that it's prob better to not get involved

it's something like 7% transmission rate with 10,000 exposures of someone you know has it and fuking them raw over months.

highest chance of tranmission is when it's shedding or you see a sore like that. otherwise it's pretty dormant and the viral load is low

the chances go to near 0 if you use a condom, and even smaller if condom + medication

i'm not exactly sure of the transmission rate for kissing

If you catch herpes, you have it for life. It comes back 2-3 times per year in the form of outbreaks (blisters). During this phase, the virus actually suppresses your immune system, this makes you 500% more likely to catch HIV or any other disease during the suppression period.

I think some people carry the virus without showing symptoms.

You can use antivirals afterwards. I read a study about I think lemon oil topically after exposure reduced transmission to almost zero.

no.

i personally believe the medical industry fibs a bit about it cause they want you coming in

but you can be asymptomatic or have an outbreak years later as it was dormant and decides to pop up for whatever reason

However, in some rare cases, HSV2 has been known to cause oral herpes because the inside of the mouth is also lined with mucous membranes
but regardless the transmission rate is actually pretty low

Make sure to specify you want to test both types 1 and 2 because some doctors only screen for 2.
