Silver Debate - Lets sort through the bullchit together.

Looking for other miscrs to look into silver with me and try to find the truth. It's impossible to have any discussion on Wall Street Bets, it's simply too chaotic now.

Most of wall street bets is convinced that silver is a shill.

I've been buying silver for years because I thought it was undervalued. Having a 1.4T market cap vs Golds 10+T market cap is the main reason I bought. I believe in value.

In my research I do find that there is way more paper silver in existence then actual .999fine troy silver bars but there is tons of other silver around that I do not know how to account for. Like coins that are only 95% silver.

I also find that silver is found @ 7oz to 1oz of gold. I also find it is used in industry 6 to 1 more then gold. So there is alot more of it then gold but it is used in industry more often then gold and being that most of that use is on electronics I do not see that use being threatened.

The governments will absolutely intervene if whales try to call in all the silver shares. Just like last time someone tried to corner the silver market. So how do we factor that into valuation?

If were going for pure value we can correlate gold to silver market caps of 1960 vs now. How do they look? Has silver appreciated/inflated to match its big brother? I think not, i think it is undervalued but i'm open to evidence to suggest otherwise.

Even if it is being shilled to distract retail from GME and make back losses for Citadel, it's still a good investment. It's still a good investment regardless of the silver squeeze thing.

Yea that's what im getting at.

Like yes you can squeeze it. Someone did in the past. They locked them up and banned them from trading commodities ever again.

But like the pure fuking value of silver is so low compared to gold. It used to be 1:30 in the old days. 30oz of silver for 1oz gold.

Now its like 60oz silver to 1 oz gold. It should be at least 30 to 1, we use silver in industry now way more then we used to use it.

I've been buying silver for like two years for this fact alone. I think it's worth at least 70-80$ an OZ.

Mining is a lot more efficient than it was years ago. I wouldn't get on something they can just dig up at will. Mining companies probably try not to deflate the price but it's always a possibility.

Silver and gold are both artificially suppressed and more people own each on paper than actually exists. Neither will get squeezed like GME but I think both are currently undervalued especially silver. I'd take it as a long position

I mean I would go bullion if you want silver. I was actually talking about the metal.

You can't call in SLV for bullion unless you have 50k shares of it.

I think silver is underpriced and gold is overpriced. I value my silver at 70$ an oz minimum but to be honest I just like shiny metal it and I probably wont ever sell it.

I know, I'm just in a 3rd world foreign country right now and buying slv on my phone was easier than navigating the bullion market here.

yeah I think the primary reason its most likely a trap/shill is because the brokerages have not set any restrictions on buying it like they have with $GME, $NOK, $AMC, $BB, $NAKD, etc.

I've been occasionally going to WSB for maybe 6 months. The general attitude there now has changed a lot the past week or two ever since "normies" got involved.

The people saying silver being shilled is cope from GME holders (srs).

WB have been infiltrated by paid people making threads to leave silver alone. Causing the price of silver to rise is more difficult though and will have much bigger consequences than the gamestop chit. You will see newly created accounts on reddit telling you to not buy silver. Silver on the Comex has been manipulated down for a long time now. Jpmorgan even had to pay a fine for doing so lol.

I have stacked some silver bullion and believe it to be undervalued. Buying at $12 an ounce was a complete no brainer. It still has a lot of room to move upwards.

Huh?

This thread is about Silver.

Not Slv

You can not buy any Silver online today from any mainstream bullion provider. It's sold out. I'm going to check with my local stores when they open (like in 20minutes). I want to see who has any and how much. Also some of my local bullion guys are also ammo guys so i can check on the going-price for green tips which I also invested in.

I bought into green tips at .75

Dude, unless you make a living on stonks and you can afford to be at your computer for 8hrs per day its not realistic for your entire portfolio to be volatile unpredictable pump and dump stocks.

You buy gold and silver and JnJ and coca cola and REITS and Disney to sit on because they're safe and low maintenance and will grow year over year without paying much attention to them.

Here what will happen if people try to “squeeze”:

People buy silver —> Demand goes up —> Price increases —> Production (mining) increases —> Supply increases —> Price decreases —> Demand decreases —> People sell —> Price tanks due to silver surplus

To my knowledge silver is a by-product. There a few isolated areas where it's dense and could be considered the main product but I don't think that's the norm.

To my knowledge it used widely in industry/technology as of recently and it used at a rate faster then it is produced.

silver isnt
valued like gold
the last bank according to
google who used silver was
SPAIN central bank back on 1920
not to mention it has less uses than gold, and not that rare
hard to find compared to gold. BUT if there is an UNDERLYING mysterious
use of it in the current future lets say similar to the surge of Palladium
then expect they are right, never underestimate the media/forums
could be one of the big sharks posting as a NERD/insider...JUST TO make the big

Every local dealer is sold out of .999 fine bars or disks.

There are some coins out there but I couldn't even find Morgan dollars or peace dollars. All sold out.

How does silver have less uses then gold? Source?

Only 7% of gold produced annually is used in industry. Where as over 50% of silver produced annually is used in industry.

Here's why I don't care about silver:

As for Citadel (who owns a LOT of silver) pushing it into the news all of a sudden? Just trying to manipulate the market into moving away from GME.

I think they're both underpriced, both supressed by banks, the question is which has a bigger upside if it can escape the suppression

I get it: Hedge funds bad

We all know silver is a by-product which should actually make it even more valuable because you can't just target it if demand increases.

I have GME too and i'm not selling. I bought GME and AMC just to watch the money burn because I have enough money to do that.

Physical Silver is undervalued, i'm not considering any bias into my conclusion. Only data
