When I’m really angry I tend to just go silent and step away for a bit to calm myself so the worst things were probably just telling her fck you or calling her a btch.

It's called self respect more than anything. Yes you can always still love them from afar, but have zero desire to be their friend while they're off dating and sleeping with somebody new slowly building a new bond with somebody else which eliminates the need for your friendship now anyways. Most exes just want to hang on to the friendship just long enough until they've found somebody new that they're totally into. Then neither side communicates ever again, or rarely at most. Basically you should just go ahead and push it to the finish line of what it's ultimately going to be vs deluding yourself and grieving that there's some way you'll always be in each other's life.

You were verbally and mentally abusive to our children and they will never forget that, even if they can learn to forgive it.
Our children don't want to be anything like you and you know it.

Its because every year you are 10% worse than the year before.

Not an ex but a girl I matched with on Tinder. Told her I was abused as a child and slang drugs when I as 10 years old. I also mentioned some other past criminal records along with my time in the pen. She said good night and never texted me after that.

Pretty sure I said something about her popping pills for her depression at some point.

I was also a real POS when I broke up with her to really drive home the point that it was really over and I did not and would not ever want to be with her. I did this to make sure she wouldn't hang onto some thread of hope that maybe someday we'd get back together and so she could move on with her life.

Still kinda feel bad about it even though I was young and stupid.
