Chalk it up as a lesson boyo

There is no investor alive who got rich without some losses along the way. Easy to kick yourself when down, but learn from it, don’t repeat it, be better from it

Never sell unless it's a profit. It could take months, or years, but why ever accept negative?

Thanks for playing newbie. Buying shares of a very overvalued company is risky

It will likely fall a lot more once this fad is over. Things usually balance out over time, and that means gamestock share price dumping a lot from here.

Not selling for a loss is generally very valid, don’t lock in those unrealized losses

Unless you buy at the height of a 5,600% year over year gain spurred on by a short squeeze, then it’s probably smarter to sell

If this drops back to reality, there will be no recovering those losses

Like they say timing is nine tenths of the law.

Is that what they say?
Look, you're my best friend, so don't take this the wrong way but, in 20 years if you're still here postin' in hhhnnnggg threads, beggin' for mod reps, and braggin' about whales you harpooned from POF, I'll f'in kill ya. That's not a threat, that's a fact, I'll f'in kill ya. You got somethin' none of us have, and you don't owe it to yourself man, you owe it to me. Cuz tomorrow I'm gonna wake up and I'll be red, and I'll still be a socially awkward/FA. And that's all right.

LMFAO at not selling the stock a stock that's worth $10 at most when it was $350 ...

Lots of cope ITT. Denial that they are suckers who hopped on the bandwagon too late and is not the get rich quick scheme they thought it was. I do love that hedge funds were getting fuked from it, but in the end, the billionaires always win. These meme stocks were always expected to come crashing down eventually.

But keep holding the bag.. er, I mean keep holding the line boyos

They'll go up eventually, even if they keep dipping for a while.

Their previous max was $35 in 2017. If you have hope that they'll recover and prosper going forward, they'll probably get back into the $20's+.

People still go to theaters in a pre-COVID world.
